"Hello?"
Out of all the names I could have seen on my phone that morning, I'm pretty sure I didn't expect Nathan McNeill's to be there. However, I still answered the call without a second thought.
"Hey, I need to ask you something."
"Go ahead."
Nathan had been my dance teacher since I was fifteen, so of course after four years, I knew that something was about to happen.
"Well, I have another student-"
"Hold up, are you trying to get me to dance with someone else? I already told you Nate, I'm a solo dancer."
"Lex, just hear me out alright? He's a nice guy, and I think you guys would work great together."
"What's his name?"
"Charlie. Charlie Smith."
I scoffed. What a generic name.
"Sure. Let's give this a go. Same time as usual?"
"Yep."
"Alright, see you then." I hung up, placing my phone back down where it had been. When Nathan mentioned his other student, I assumed they would be a girl. But a boy?
This could be interesting.
