Chapter 1

------Third POV------

Kaitlyn: "Ugh... I'm really boreddddddd. What should I do to kill time..."

Today was just another boring day in the apartment building and Kaitlyn was lying on my bed thinking about nothing.

Kaitlyn: "God. There is nothing to do now. I guess maybe I can go on a walk to just kill time. Ooh! I should ask the other if they wanna do that as well!"

Kaitlyn jumped up from her bed and grabbed her shoes and put them on. Then she grabbed her phone and opened her apartment door and then closed it.

Then she walked over to Edd's apartment. She knocked a few times on the door and a few seconds later, Tom opened the door.

Kaitlyn: "Hey Tom." she smiled.

Tom: "Hey Kate. What's up?"

Kaitlyn: "Well, I was wondering maybe we can go on a walk together with the others. I'm just really bored and that was the first thing that came up in my mind. Is everyone in there with you?"

Tom: "Sure, I'm bored as well. *laughs* And yes, everyone is here. Come inside."

Kaitlyn: "Thanks."

Kaitlyn walked into Edd's apartment and went into his little tv room since he didn't have that much space.

Kaitlyn: "Hey guys! You bored?" she called out, laughing.

They all turned their heads to Kaitlyn and waved.

Madeline: "Kate!!!"

She ran up to Kaitlyn and hugged her. Of course, Kaitlyn hugged back.

Kaitlyn: "Hi bestie!!!"

Clifton: "Well, that was a good introduction for not seeing you almost the whole day." he laughed as getting up and putting his hands in his pockets.

Kaitlyn: "Ha, ha. Very funny, Clifton. Anyways, you guys want to go on a walk together?"

Edd: "Sure, it's not like we are doing stuff important." he replied laughing and turning off the tv.

Kaitlyn: "YAY!!!"

Madeline: "You guys know what this means?!"

Everyone except Tom, eyes glowed with excitement.

Everyone: "MONTAGE TIMEEE!!!!"

Tom facepalmed himself.

Tom: "I am surrounded by idiots..."

Madeline: "COME HERE!!!" she yelled running towards Tom.

Tom: "NOPE!!! NOPENOPENOPENOPE!!!" he screeches as running outside.

Everyone: "... well s**t."

Clifton: "Damn... Seeing this place again brings back a whole lot of memories."

Edd: "I'm with you there. Oh! Remember that awesome big blossom tree that we always played at?"

Matt: "Oh yeah! Let's see if it's still there!"

Everyone ran through the park until they reached the tree.

Kaitlyn: "W-Wow! I can't believe it's still here..." she beamed touching the tree.

Tom: "*smiles a bit* Yeah... Sure been a while since we saw the one."

They all sat down next to the tree and stared at the city.

Madeline: "Man, view up here is amazing! Just imagine seeing this at night time?"

Clifton: "Maybe we should come here when it's night time because I'm starving!"

Everyone held their laughs.

Kaitlyn: "Sure, I'm down. I haven't eaten since morning."

Edd: "How about we go to the diner? It has good food over there and why not."

Clifton: "YEAH!!!"

They all burst into laughter and then got up.

Edd: "Hey! I'll race you guys there! Whoever gets there last will have to pay!!!"

Kaitlyn: "*laughs* I'll stay out of this one. You guys go ahead though. I'll catch up."

Madeline: "Same with me!"

Tom: "Alright, try not to get lost you two! RACE YA GUYS!!!"

The boys started running off to the distance while the girls giggled.

The sunset was ending soon, but it was beautiful.

Kaitlyn stared into that sunlight for a long time until Madeline woke her up from her thoughts.

Madeline: "Hey, Kate? Can I ask you something?"

Kaitlyn: "Sure. What's up?" she replied putting her hands into her sweatshirt pocket.

Madeline: "Do you... ever wondered what happened to Tord at the... incident?"

Kaitlyn stopped and stared at her. She hasn't thought of Tord for a very long time and didn't really want to remember what happened.

Kaitlyn: "I-uh... I don't know... Probably something bad, but we don't need to know because he never going to come back! ... Right?"

Madeline: "I don't know. I was just wondering. Anyways, wanna start picking up the pace a little to the diner? The boys are probably panicking right now."

Kaitlyn: "*laughs* yeah sure."

{When they arrive at the diner}

Kaitlyn: "Holy god. This place is packed."

Madeline: "I can see that." she replied laughing.

The girls noticed everyone was in a big crowd in the middle of the diner.

Madeline: "Wonder what's going on over there."

Kaitlyn: "Let's check it out!"

The girls rummaged through the crowds until the reached the front. They could see Tom and Clifton being really angry at someone while Edd and Matt were nowhere to be seen.

Madeline: "Hey guys? What's going on here?" she called out.

Tom and Clifton turned around to see the girls confused.

Clifton: "O-Oh! Hey guys! Where were you?"

Kaitlyn: "Talking about stuff. Anyways, you guys are making a huge scene now! What are you guys even mad about?"

Tom: "How about you see yourself?" he snapped looking a the person behind him.

They couldn't really see his face because he was wearing a hood.

Madeline: "Oh come on. Who can it possibly be-"

She gasped and started tearing up.

Kaitlyn: "Madeline! Who is it?!" she asked running up to her.

Kaitlyn looked behind Tom and just stared at the person.

Kaitlyn: "There's no way..."

The person stood up and looked up. He smiled weakly.

???: "Hey guys... Miss me?"

Red sweatshirt...

Scared face...

Hair horns...

Yep! The one and only!
