A Mission

This story contains spoilers for anime-only watchers such as characters that have not been introduced in the anime (season 2 included), proceed at your own will.

Emma served the pumpkin spiced latte to the last customer of the day with a smile.

It's been three weeks since she started worked at Grace Field Café. A lot of things happened in those three weeks but it had been an amazing experience. She met a lot of amazing people and even developed a crush on one of the regulars that she was close with (Gilda was an amazing person).

She met some really really bad customers (she sincerely hoped Mister Lewis would never come back) and even made friends with a runaway (Musica planned to introduce her to her boyfriend Sonju).

And then she finally met Norman.

Now, Norman was an amazing, kind, understanding person, who smiled in such a sweet way. He was almost always with either four people or with one of those four.

(Barbara scared her the most)

And along the way she had noticed something about the male. The way he acted, specifically. More specifically, the way he acted towards her best friend (read:brother).

Now, at first she hadn't noticed as it was very very subtle and she doubted Ray noticed too. Norman would start inching as close as possible to the raven and even make flirtatious comments about the male.

Emma took it as a joke and began making flirtatious jokes about the male too, but Norman didn't seem to like it as he gave her a blank, unamused expression for a second before returning to his signature smile.

She silently shuddered.

And then she noticed the way Ray would act towards the albino.

Ray was a smart but quite person. His stoic appearance gave people the idea that he was a dangerous person but trust her, he was far from dangerous (She still remembers that one time he got in trouble for trying to play with her when she was sick).

So for him to act like this!? It was really a miracle Norman couldn't tell Ray was just as in love with him as he was in love with Ray.

Ray acted embarrassed! Ray was never embarrassed when it came to anything, even when the staff found out that the owner of the café was his mother. So for Ray to slightly blush and mumble a thanks under his breath when he was complimented in embarrassment was a big deal.

But Emma had enough! She was tired of these two acting like middle school kids with a crush, they were twenty six for God sake not six! She was going to put an end to this, even if it is the last thing she does!

Emma actually didn't know what to do , so she when she got to her room she took her laptop and searched 'How to get two people who like each other to date'.

Granted, that wasn't the best idea as thousands upon thousands of webpages popped up, some were actually useful but most of them had almost nothing to do with what she had searched!

So she went on a few, took some notes and went to bed.
