The world is a terrible place
And the human race
It's a disgrace
I was misplaced
Misbread
With the wrong head
With the wrong heart
Can I restart
Redo what I need to
See through
To the endCan I replace
What's in my head
With a new thread
With a new train of thought
Because mine has
Turned sideways
And is killing
What I wantAnd the hope that
I built to last
It was torn off
From the old spot
Where I used to
Keep my heartIt is now used
In the wrong way
And I can't say
It should stop
For my own tongue
Has been re-done
To only say what
They wantMy past is
Still killing
Who I once used
To be
But if help comes
I might live on
If it does not
Then I won'tSo for the last time
Can you be kind
And let my thoughts
Be alone
And can you keep my
Heart intact
While I search for
My home
