Chapter 1- First Day

-7 Am -
"Everyleigh I hope you're up"
a voice called from downstairs,
"yes mom, coming soon" Everleigh answered as she got up out of bed she made the bed behind her. She slipped her silky brown hair into a messy bun and walked down to find her best friend Ashlyn waiting for her.

"Hey Ev, it's our first day of...."  Everyleigh cut her off, "Senior year !!!" They both screamed and ran up the stairs to get Everleigh ready.

A few moments passed and all they had to do was get her hair done. Ashlyn combed through Everleigh's hair, "so has Justin Spoken to you?" Ashlyn asked, "no and I don't care, he's broken my heart too many time's and I-" Everleigh stopped.

"And you what?" Ashlyn asked, "nothing" she responded. "let's go to school" Everyleigh spoke.

-8:30 am-
As they got to school, they went to their assigned lockers and got their schedules. "I gotta go find my first class, I'll see you later Ev" Ashlyn said. Everleigh smiled and opened her locker, "so how is my beauty doing ?" She heard someone ask, she shut her locker with her books in her hand, " I'm not your beauty anymore Justin, you know this" Everleigh said as she rolled her eyes.

"But babe come on" Justin responded, "I'm not your babe either, you broke my heart Justin, can't you see that" she responded as she walked away. "Come on" he yelled, "just leave me alone" She answered. "Yeah what she said" Everleigh stopped and turned around to see a strange boy walking past Justin and stopped in front of him.

"Who do you think you are?" Justin sarcastically asked, "Names Isaac, Isaac Peters, and you are?" Isaac said back as he put it his hand out for Justin to Shake. "Whatever" Justin said and walked away.

-Everleigh's POV-
"Who are you" I asked, "Isaac, I just moved here in July, I'm a senior, and you?" He asked, "Everleigh, senior, lived here my whole life and that guy you sarcastically introduced yourself to was my ex boyfriend, anyway I'm going to class" I answered, "what's his problem anyway" he asked "none of your business" I said as I smiled and walked away.

-Isaac's POV-
That girl is beautiful but smart. I'm not sure what goes on with her ex and her but I know she's better then that and he doesn't deserve her. If I only I can befriend her but she won't, she only likes the rich and the wealthy it seems like. Anyway I'm gonna try.

-3 pm-
"Mom I'm home" Everleigh called out as she walked in the door, "oh hey honey how was your first day back?" She asked, " terrible, Justin won't leave me alone then this new guy Isaac stood up for me, like who does he think he is, I don't need someone to battle my problems with my ex boyfriend" Everleigh spoke, "Isaac who ?" Her mother asked, "Peters I think why?" She answered, "ohh Scott and Isaac Peters, they just moved in next door this summer, remember?" Her mom asked, "no but is it just him and his dad?" She asked. "Unfortunately yes, I heard his mother passed away a couple years ago" her mom responded. "Oh" Everyleigh said as she headed upstairs.

-Everleigh's POV -
Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on Isaac, I had no idea, he seems like a nice guy, but I just hate people in my business you know. I watched out my bedroom window and seen Isaac walking home, he casually glances up and waves but I hide my face and turn around. As I turn my MacBook on I casually look up 'Isaac Peters' on Facebook but I find nothing. I look up his father 'Scott Peters' and I find a whole Facebook page of a company he works for and his personal page, I see my mom already befriended him, I smile and just roll my eyes scrolling down more. I find out they are from New York, just a small town in New Jersey. "Interesting" I say to myself.

-5 Pm-
"Ev, dinner is done, come on down" I hear my mom say and I immediately turn off my computer and stroll downstairs.

-8pm-
After dinner was all done, I helped mom do the dishes and clean up and I went upstairs to change for bed. Took my makeup off, showered then changed into my silk pjs, put my hair in a messy bun. After awhile I lay in bed on my phone until I eventually fell asleep.

Tomorrow is a new day.
