Author note: this is the short summery of Omi and her character which includes a brief description of her backstory, her personality, and her time frame preceding where her vigilante adventure begins!
Michizoe Omi, daughter or Kyosuke and Etsuko. Both sides of her family are widely known for quirks that manipulate space and time, which is why her quirk is teleportation (or what it would have been naturally...). She grew up as Bakugou Katsuki's neighbor, so even though she was about two years older, she tagged along with him and Midoriya Izuku during their childhood adventures. She always found herself defending Izuku from Bakugou and recognized the unequal divide of power in her society from an early age. Her flashy power made her popular within her cohort, which further enforced her ideas that hero society was flawed, as she was privileged and more easily able to advance than others due to her quirk. Even though it played to her advantage she hated how unfair it was to others. She wanted equal opportunities for everyone. She wanted change. So she reluctantly enrolled in UA with recommendations to become a hero and change the system from the inside out.
She's never taken advantage of her quirk because in the back of her mind lingers repetitive thoughts that taunt her. That her abilities are too good to be true, as if the concept of them was fabricated out of sheer luck....and that they aren't truly hers.
