Memories

     Allie was laying in bed, thinking about what happened today, her birthday. At 3 AM she woke up almost crying because of her dream. It was just a dream! Or maybe a nightmare...
     Allie cried to her parents about her dream.

"What happened!?" Angel exclaimed as he ran into her room with Alastor.

"I had a bad dream..." Allie sighed.

Angel sat next to Allie as Alastor stood next to him while she told them her dream.She

"That was only a dream, dear. Go back to bed." Alastor said as Angel kissed Allie's head and they left.

The next day, Allie woke up and went downstairs to peace and quiet, unlike her birthday.

"Allie?" Charlie said.

"Auntie!" Allie ran and hugged Charlie, she returned the embrace.

She's better than my parents. It made her upset to say Angel's and Alastor's name.

"You ready for breakfast?" Charlie smiled.

"Were's Angel?" His name left a foul taste in her mouth.

"He and Alastor went to get a surprise." Charlie giggled and continued . "For you!"

"R-really!?" Allie knew her parents aren't the kindest demons but a gift? It didn't make sense.

"Yep!" Charlie smiled.

When they went to eat, Vaggie eyed Allie as if she could tell her pain.

"Allie," Vaggie said. " why don't you call Angel and Alastor dad or somethin' ?"

"What do you mean?" Allie almost stammered.

"They are your parents, your suppose to call them that not their names."

"I was told to stop after my tenth birthday..." Allie sighed.

"Why?" Charlie asked.

"Angel and Al said it was confusing to call them both dad." Allie said hesitantly, making sure that her parents weren't home.

Just as she said that she heard the doors open and two people walk in, then the doors closed.
