Chapter 1

Emma's pov
Hi! My name is emma grier and I am fourteen years old I am also the youngest in the family also (hayes is fifteen in the story) besides skylynn but I don't live with them in North Carolina I live with my brothers nash and hayes in Los Angeles California and I love it. The reason why I love with them is because my parents are hardly ever home and nash and hayes thought it would be better for me to live with them. I also live with matthew or matt, cameron or cam, jack g, jack j, taylor, shawn and Brent. My uncles would have to be O2L because the boys are like my brothers and O2L are really close with us so I just call them my uncles. Sadly being the only girl sucks sometimes though because they can be strict most of the time and can punish me which happens pretty often because I am stubborn. Here are the rules 1. No cursing 2. No attitude 3. No wearing short clothes 4. No putting them against eachother if one of them says no then it's no end of story 5. When they tell me something do it the first times 6. Focus on online school 7. Focus on my acting now thaws are the punishments 1. Is a warning 2. Is another warning 3. A spanking and 4. Grounded. So that pretty much it welcome to my life as emma Grier.

Matt: emma wake up you have acting class today
Emma: no (mumbles)
Matt: emma get up now you don't want to be late
Emma: (mumbles) tired

(Emma jumps out of bed)
Emma: what was that for!?
Matt: good your up now get dressed and get downstairs
(He walks out of the room)
Emma's pov
So if you saw one of the rules is to focus on my acting and I am going to admit I love it but sometimes I get lazy and tired and I don't want to go. I several acting coaches the main one is matthew knight yes the guy who played ethan on my babysitters a vampire is my coach! He's not the only one Atticus Mitchell is also one of them to and Vanessa Morgan and Kate Todd so I have a pretty cool teachers but they still can annoy me! Anyways i got dressed in a long sleeve shirt with jeggings and some flats, then I brushed my light brown straight hair and walked downstairs where the boys were at.

Emma's pov
I wasn't really sorry but I wasn't in the mood to hear my brother scolding me like a five year old child. So we got in the car and drove, I have class at matthew and Vanessa's house and then Atticus and Kate come over. So we just got here.

Nash: alright we will pick you up afterward okay?
Emma: okay I'll see you in a few hours
Nash: alright bye baby girl
Cam: bye princess BEHAVE
Emma: yeah yeah bye
Them: bye
(She walks up to the door and knock and matthew opens the doosr and the boys drive off)
Matthew: hey there's my little superstar
Emma: hi matthew how have you been?
Matthew: I am good come on Vanessa's in the living room and Atticus and Kate will be here soon
Emma: okay
(They walk into the living room)
Vanessa: hey emma
Emma: hi
Vanessa: alright so let's get right to work first we will start off with improv (then the door opens and Kate and Atticus enter)
Atticus: hey emma
Emma: hey guys
Kate: hi
Vanessa: alright so improv first and you will do the scene with matthew then Atticus and then Kate then me
Emma: okay give me a situtaition
Kate: alright matthew is going to play your dad and emma you came home from school early because you got expelled and now action
Emma: (pretends to open a door and close it) I am home is anyone here!
Matthew: Jane what are you doing here? You should be at school
Emma: yeah uh about i uh may fm have gottenexpelled
Matthew: what was that?
Emma: I uh got expelled
Matthew: you what!? How!?
Emma: I may have sort of uh gotten into a fight for the seventh time this year
Matthew: emma! I can not believe this!
Emma: why are you getting mad at me!?
Matthew: oh I don't know having my fifteen year old daughter tell me she got expelled yeah I am totally going to be fine with that!
Emma: really?
Matthew: no not really! Your grounded
Emma: but that's not fair!
Matthew: yes it is and you know it
Kate: and cut! Good job emma
Emma: thanks
Atticus: alright my turn
Vanessa: okay emma have you been practicing on how to remember lines from tv shows
Emma: yeah
Vanessa: alright I want you to do a scene from the fosters Atticus already knows it because you have watched the foster so many times
Emma: okay
Vanessa: alright and action
Emma: would you mind
Atticus: hmm what
Emma: that song it's annoying, your in a good mood
Atticus: I am always in a good mood
Emma: your in a really good mood tonight, is there someone you haven't told me about
Atticus: no
Emma: nothing's going on? nothing between you and lexi
Atticus: not at all
Emma: that's not what it looked like earlier
Atticus: what? At volleyball I was just helping her with her kill
Emma: her kill really?
Atticus: hey relax you know I wouldn't date in of your lame friends anyway
Vanessa: cut good job emma
Matthew: alright we did some into games now let's practice for your competition
Emma's pov
S**t! I forgot to practice, I have a competition coming up and I am doing hazel's eulogy for gus and I know most of it but I forgot a lot of it too. Matthew, nessa, Kate and Atticus may seem relaxed but if I forget to do something they get strict and push me to do my best especially matthew and don't get me wrong I love to act and want this to be my career but I can get lazy and sometimes give them a hard time.

Atticus: you did practice it right?
Emma: y yeah
Matthew: alright let's hear it
Emma: r right o okay
She starts
Emma: hi I am hazel and agustus waters was the star crossed love of my life, Ours was an epic love story and like all love it stories it will die with us as it should. I am not going to talk about our love story because I can't so instead I am going to talk about math. I am not a mathematician but I do no this there an infinite set of numbers between 0 and 1 there's .1 and .12 and point .112 and an infinite set of others but there is an even bigger set of numbers between 0 and 2.....
Matthew: continue emma
Emma: right....
Kate: emma did you really practice
Emma: (mumbles) no
Matthew: I can't hear you
Emma: no I didn't practice
Atticus: why not?
Emma: because I forgot
Matthew: emma this is something you can't forget you want to be an actress right?
Emma: yes
Matthew: okay then do it again
Emma: but I can't remember the rest can I please just look it up really fast
Vanessa: emma you have been doing this for several weeks it will come back to you so try again
Emma: ugh fine
Matthew: lose the attitude and go again

Atticus: more feeling
Matthew: act like he really was the love of your life he's dying act like your so in love and heart broken try again
Emma: (adds emotion) hi I am hazel and agustus waters was the star crossed love of my life, and ours was an epic love story
Vanessa: was it really an epic love story
Emma: yes... I think
Vanessa: then show me it was epic show us that he meant something to you go again
Emma: from the beginning?!
Matthew: yes from the beginning
Emma: (doesn't really care and what's to get it over with) hi I am hazel and agustus waters was the star crossed love of my life..
Atticus: okay stop look I know it's early but you have done way better then what your doing right now so what's up with today
Emma: I am just not in the mood to do this
Matthew: Emma when your an actress and you have to wake up so early in the morning to get to the set no one's in the mood but we do it anyways now go again
Emma: but matthew
Matthew: I don't want to hear excuses you and your brother told us to push you to do your best even if you want to protest so that's what I am going to do now go again
Emma's pov
Now I am getting frustrated I don't want to do this right now it's early j am tired and I am just not in the freaking mood! So instead I just sat down on the couch being followed.

Atticus: Emma come on try again
Emma: I don't want to
Matthew: look emma I can't force you to get up and do your lines but your brothers not going to be very happy so you can either get up and try again or I can tell your brother to come pick you up it's your choice
Emma: fine
Kate: fine as in you'll try again or fine as in call your brother
Emma: whatever
Matthew: okay then I'll call your brother (walks away)
Matthew's pov
Today she's having a bad day which I get usually she's not like this and very cooperative but even if she's not in the mood we still need her to do her best. Anyways I called her brother and I could tell he wasn't happy but he was on his way.

A few minutes later emma is still sitting on the couch when the door opens and hayes walks over to her
Hayes: come on emma let's go
Emma: (get's up without saying anything and hayes turns to the former cast)
Hayes: sorry about emma she woke up and wasn't in the best mood
Matthew: don't worry about it next time sh'll stay for three hours
Hayes: alright bye
Emma's pov
I was so happy when I get picked up because once I get home I can lay down in my bed and go to sleep. The car ride home was silent and awkward and that's when I realized I am huge trouble!
