I ended up walking back home from practice, in the freezing cold. When I heard a stick break from behind me. "Sorry!" I heard a voice call. "No you're fine, just scared me that's all." I said trying to be friendly. "Hey do you know where Texas St is?" My street. "Yeah it's just around the corner." I said as they caught up. I looked over to see who it was. "are you serious!" "What?" "You know exactly where Texas St is, you come over to my house every day." "Guilty, it's just you have a surprise waiting for you at home." I started to walk when (f/n) put their hand on my shoulders pushing me making me go faster. When we got to my house they made me close my eyes, leading me inside. " Is it sad that I DONT trust you." I asked joking around. "Maybe just a little." They said snickering a little bit. "Okay stand right here don't move and don't take your blindfold off." And so I did as I was told. That's when somebody hugged me. Their smell made me want to hug them back and not let go. I could feel their hair lightly touch my face as they leaned in. "Miss me?" I took my blind fold off to see the girl I had loved since I was eighteen. I could feel myself tear up as I went in for another hug. "Yes I missed you as soon as you left." I said crying now. When we pulled apart I whipped my tears off. "So how's your job going?" "Eh, I started on Tik Tok." She said laughing a bit. "Really? I haven't seen your page at all." I said laughing as well. She put her arm around me and led me to the couch, (f/n) following. "Actually guys I need to go, even though I would love to stay I gots to go!" They said as they left. I laid m head down on Maihua's shoulder and she linked our hands together. "I have missed you so much (y/n)." I smiled at that. "I love you." I said trying to shoot my shot once again. "Hey that reminds me!" Maihua said quickly sitting up. She turned around to me and grabbed both my hands in hers. "Before I left I wanted to tell you I loved you." "Okay?" "I love you...but I wanted to say more but I chickened out." "Continue." She laughed at my confusion. "I love you. And I want to be more than friends with you. I just never got the chance to ask you." I could feel my face go red as I stared into her brown eyes. "Do you want to go out with me?" I couldn't speak it's like somebody took a needle and wire and sewed my mouth shut. "(Y/n) you okay?" "Yeah! I mean yes I'm fine and yeah! To going out with you...sorry I just froze." That's when she leaned in, hovering over my lips asking for permission. I smiled and leaned in, feeling her lips against mine was the best feeling I have ever felt. We separated and looked at each other for a moment. " Wanna cuddle?" I asked. "Yes please." She said as she laid down and let me rest my head on her chest. Feeling her slow breaths, hearing her heart beat made me know that this moment was 100% real.
