Note is at the bottom!
The world had always seemed so big. There was always more to it than met the eye.
Trees, built from seed to lush evergreen with a sturdiness of wood that remained unwavering against the push-and-pull of torrential winds, could never be simply trees. Such gentle beauty was the keystone and bearer of life for all who breathed.
The sky, the gallery which exhibited the artful strokes of flushed colour belonging to the hands of the sun in its rising and setting, could never be simply the sky. That it bore life and warmed the soils and souls of the earth was a credit the many stars that it held could never quantify.
The moon, the singular companion to the frosty chill of the night as it basks unapologetic in its ethereal, bright glory in a clean silver arch, could never be simply the moon. Oceans swayed before its gravitational pull, a tidal force evoked in waves.
The world was always big in its complexities and simplicities, a delicately toed line of balance.
Thomas Sanders, a singular person of a singular family in a singular time, is neither simple nor complex.
He is "simply" Thomas Sanders.
In a more complex regard, he is a singular entity brought about through an amalgamation of simple Sides, all of whom had their own complexities.
And Patton Sanders — simply put "Morality" — knew he was a small part of a small entity, and simultaneously, a large part of a large life.
The world had always seemed so big.
And he experienced it in sweet, little, insignificant fragments of time.
And he lived.
He lived in a world too big for him, with a heart too big for him, with a stretch of time that was too big of him.
And he lived.
He lived in little moments that were never so little, because they could never be "simple" — and he would never ask them to be. He would ask, simply, that they were beautiful.
And they were.

One Of Many Sleepless Nights
There's a faint thrum running along the walls of the Mindscape — a restless buzz that occupies Thomas tonight, and leaves an acute awareness of consciousness in the Sides.
The energy that keeps them awake is fuelled by none other than a perpetual child's unending curiosity, as the dewy grass tickles the soles of his bare feet whilst he treads carefully though the backyard. There's a blanket pressed against his side, tucked in the crook of his elbow, until he settles for the middle of the yard, and it's unravelled to flutter onto the ground.
Tonight, it is Roman who keeps vigilant in the Control Room. His hands are methodical with grace as he orchestrates the dreamlike wonder that shines in their host's eyes as they are directed skywards. The stars are hardly ever so vivid, but tonight no meagre light pollution will hide their glistening show, and Thomas is ever their willing audience.

Sanders Sides One-shots
FanficOh, c'mon, Thomas is such a cinnamon roll, I HAD to do a collection of one-shots surrounding his sides. I take requests, but I also get writer's block A LOT. Warning: ANXIETY IS GETTING A LOT OF LOVE IN THIS FIC. The poor angel (I mean... dev...
