Draco's P.O.V
________________________________I can't believe the year is almost over. Just another month and we are done. No more school, no more lockers, no more of this. Most importantly, no more living with Hermione. My heart pangs at the thought. I doubt she'll want to live with me anyway. But if I asked her, what would she say?
"Hey can you pass me that bow tie?" Harry asked from next to me. I looked at him quizzically.
"Thought you said you didn't know what colour she was wearing?" I asked and he grinned.
"Just a hunch" he replied and I smirked, passing him the navy blue accessory.
My relationship with Harry got better. We weren't friends, but we weren't enemies either. It's like, we're in the process of becoming...acquaintances.
Now we're here, on the night of the formal, in his dorm, getting ready. Or about as much as a guy can get ready. Hermione hasn't told me the colour of her dress, so I had it buy every colour of the same bow tie.
"How does it look?" I asked Harry after fixing my hair again for the hundredth time. Harry turned around and stared at me for a while in amusement.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked and he smirked.
"Did you look in the mirror?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow at him, going to check. We burst out laughing at my reflection. My hair was sticking up in weird angles and the back was fully spiked up.
"God, it's hopeless!" I wailed and Harry chuckled.
"Why don't you just, not fix it?" He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Walk out with messy hair? And a tux?" I asked sarcastically but he nodded.
"Wash all the gel off and just comb it normally, girls love messy hair" he said.
"Whatever you say" I mumbled and washed it off, combing it in my regular way. Got to admit, it kinda looked better.
"You gave helpful advice?" I asked.
"Oh shut up" he mumbled, chuckling a little.
"Go pick them up?" I asked as he finished up.
He nodded. We walked out and went toward my dorm door where they were changing. I knocked softly and the door opened a peek.
Aria came out first, and I got to admit she did look quite nice. Not as good as Mione.
I turned away at Harry and Aria's PDA. Ugh it was scarring. Aria turned to me and nodded in recognition.
"Hey where's Mione?" I asked and she grinned.
"She'll be out in a minute" she explained.
I waited for two or three minutes and was about to walk in when she walked out. My god. My eyes stuck to her as she smiled at me. She was beautiful. Her hair was curled at the edges and her makeup was light.
