Oh God. Why do people like the first day of school? I find it to be hell, new teachers making kids sit by who they hate, without knowing the history between the two. You think they'd let us choose where to sit.
My day has gone somewhat smoothly; as in minimal contact with the stupid teens and keeping my music going to keep me sane. Last hour of the day and thank god for that, truly I can't stand this building anymore. With the idiotic stricken faces on teens trying to find classes and teachers sighing heavily before telling the sad teen where the class is.
So the usual happens the teacher starts off friendly and trying out the odd and normal names going down the alphabetical list. Of course it'd had to be a full class meaning three seated tables with no damn elbow room at all. I have two chicks on each side of me one blonde with glasses with the name I don't know; but I think she's in my fourth hour, then on the other side Makayla dark haired and wears glasses. Hmm maybe I need to wear glasses to fit into this table.
(Great joke.) My mind screams. Mr. Tholen calls out a name and starts the name game. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the blonde chick to my right trying to get my attention. I didn't know what she was saying because I was too caught off guard by someone willingly wanting to sit and talk to me, like this doesn't feel right no one talks to me.
I look at her over once and I notice she's waiting for me to respond "Um.. What?" I asked feeling like an idiot. She looks taken aback by the fact that I just basically asked her to repeat what she just said I couldn't blame her though.
"I said, I like your backpack and good luck this year." She stated sounding mad. So she's feisty then?
"Er. Yeah thanks." My voice shook out the words like if I said something wrong she was going to cut my boobs off. The teachers loud voice cut her off before she could respond with saying the name Ryan.
"Uhg! It's Ryanne! Like Ry-Anne, but said together. Better yet just call me Ry." She said in a pissed tone.
"Whoa okay then Ry. Grouchy are we?"
"Yea just a little bit. Especially when teachers can't say my name right!" She barked back. Wow someone's got balls. Not pointing any fingers but it's definitely this chick.
"Anyways moving on. Felicity Clayton?"
"Here." That one word was going to flip my world upside down and make it a roller coaster. And I didn't even see it coming.
