You body screaming for you but you kept on running.

Your legs on the verge of giving out, your arms full of cuts from the branches of the trees, your feet bloodied and bruised from the sticks and stones on the forest floor and your knees scraped from falling against the roots of a tree. Hours had passed since you had fled your village as they had all turned on you. The people you called family, all turned on you for something you had simply no control over and it hurt you that they would do that to you. After all you were the one person that had helped all of them from sickness as you were a physician. But that's exactly it, were, you were a physician, you were loved and now you are so far yet so close to escaping them through the forest.

Coming to an open meadow between the forest you were in and the forbidden forest that everyone was told not to enter as anyone who did never came back. Pausing you take a look at the night sky with stars twinkling as if it was saying everything would be alright, and honestly you agreed as you for some strange reason you had always felt safer at night when the moon shone and the stars twinkled. As if looking at the stars had given you strength to push your self you pushed yourself off the tree and ran across the meadow to the opposite forest hearing the faint voice's of the villagers that you knew were shouting as there was the faint yellow glow from their torches miles away. Finally reaching the other side after a good 20 minutes you look back to see the villagers pitch forks and all emerging out from within the other forest. You leap into the forbidden forest eager to lose them knowing full well that they wouldn't follow you in.

After a good few minutes you couldn't see the meadow or the villagers any more so you slow down to a slow walk noticing the strange aura emitting throughout the forest. Walking deeper into the forest you notice that the roots of the trees and the trees themselves were starting to grow bigger and entangled into each other making it almost impossible to walk through and with their growth the sky seemed to slowly disappear until there was only the smallest bit between the trees so you could just barley see. An hour or two passed before the trees started getting slimmer and the roots almost gone in the floor. You knew you were lucky to make it this far through the forest but refused to let hope consume you knowing anything could happen at any given time.

Ending at another clearing you see that it was now at the peak of dawn yellows and slight orange hues adorned the sky with almost all the dark of night gone but the moon still there as if seeing me through to safety. Looking away from the sky I see a black lake and at the other side the roof of a castle peaking over the small amount of trees separating it from the lake. Amazement, joy and a little bit of relaxation course through my body. That was the place. The place where people like me were welcomed, the place were I could learn to further control and grow my powers, the place where the magical felt safe. Vampires, werewolves, witches and wizards learn to live as one.

As I walk around the lake as thoughts rush around my mind. I may not be a full blown witch but I could suppress my other side in front of others as for them not to freak out that someone like me exists. Knowing that I would finally feel as if I belong somewhere if not fully at least partly. Making it to the last bit of trees between myself and the castle I feel excitement flow through my body as I walk through the trees. It had the same feeling as before but rarely as it felt some what safer as air began to get windy wiping my floor length silk gown ever so slightly off the ground that I once had bunched up off the floor in my hands but long since forgotten as I reached the lake. My raven hair that reached to my lower back now flowing behind me as I walked on the dirt path that was starting to form. There was this sense of accomplishment that washed over me as I had indeed escaped and had made it safely to my destination. Grabbing my royal blue dress I lift it further off the ground revealing my bloodied feet.

Reaching the end of the forest I see a few students looking towards me with curious looks and out of habit from looking people over I scan them my eyes locking with a pair vibrant blue eyes. His ocean blue to my storm grey. Snapping out of it I see a group of teachers maneuver past all the students looking straight at me surprised that I had come from the forbidden forest an lived. I smiled in my head as I had finally reached the school of my dreams. Altaea.

Once again looking up at the sky I see the moon finally fading away so I say something in my mind toward the moon. Thankyou moon goddess Selene, and good bye. . .

Mother. . .
