Chapter 5: Our blessings

The hours upon the arrival of their baby was hard and terrifying. Thea had found every reason to call him every name in the book. But Barry didn't blame her, pushing out a child has to be extremely painful . He sat there holding her hand every step of the way, and grew excited as they got closer to their arrival. The first few hours being in the hospital that sat talking baby names. For a girl they had chosen Moira Laurel Allen and for a boy Henry Robert Allen. Both names of people very important to them and were proud they both could agree on them. They grew even more impatient waiting, until finally it was time.

Thea pushed, and she pushed till the baby finally popped out. Barry never left her side, holding her hand and telling her she was doing great. She smiled happily as she heard her baby cry. She did it, their baby was here! Then the doctor spoke. "I'm sorry Mrs.Allen but there's another head. You'll have to push again." She looked back and forth between Barry and the Doctor shocked. " It's Miss Queen and that's impossible!" She said in a panic, how was she going to push out another baby when she's already so exhausted! "You don't have a choice, you have to push or the baby will die" the Doctor said apologetically. Barry was the next one to speak " Baby you got this, you're the strongest person I know. And I'll be right here with you." With that she nodded and started pushing. She pushed until their second child cried and she knew she didn't have to push anymore.

Soon they both held a baby in their arms. They had a baby girl and a baby boy. Little Moira and little Henry, such beautiful babies they are. Their perfect family, the one that they made. Suddenly things seemed like they were going to get better. Barry watched as Thea take on the role of mother her like it was made for her. He had everything he needed right here and possibly more. He was a dad, a hero and a boyfriend what more could he need. They looked at each other smiling, and they both knew all their problems were washed away. This was their fresh start and they were not going to take it for granted. They needed to be better, and that's what their hearts were set on. Thea smiled looking at Barry lovingly. "I love you you Barry Allen." Those words were like music to his ears, the only words he wanted to hear the rest of his life. "And I love you, Thea Queen. Forever and always" he said those words like it was the first time.
