THE PEACE WITHIN

CHAPTER 1

Another hot afternoon in West Africa, Nigeria to be precise I am sitted on a slightly bent chair which appeared to be the best amongst the rest on the row, every chair seemed to have the foam pouring out of the seat and it's either three legged instead of four or the top has fallen off and there is nothing to rest your back on while sitted. How Uncomfortable! Whereas just few minutes ago some nurse was up my face;
'Ah!! Mrs.Animashaun, Right? Okay Doctor Edward asked me to fetch you but some emergency came up. So if you don't mind sit down and be comfortably, it's not going to be a long wait'.
Her smile is well ironed unlike her uniform which is rather too short making me wonder what other services they offer here. Well that isn't any of my business, I am just here to get a check up and get out.

'Purururum Purururum' 'Purururum Purururum' Here I was thinking my phone was on vibration. As I search my bag for my phone Miss.Ironedsmile-Undersizeduniform called my name 'Mrs.Animashaun doctor Edward will see you now'
Abandoning the search as soon as it stopped ringing, turns out Miss.Ironedsmile-Undersizeduniform is putting a shoe which has a little heel and was making this very annoying sound for every step she takes. Urrrggghh somebody just kill me already.

Finally after taking the steps,we get to this hallway and hallelujah! Doctor Edward's office was the first door by the right. How do I know this? Well he had his name on the door, they had to give him that much of respect because the lady who told me about this hospital also didn't fail to mention that he was a senior doctor there, considering he has spent half of his practice years in this dead place so he knows more than anybody here currently. Still behind Miss.Ironedsmile-Undersizeduniform she turns to give me one of her special smile and then knocks on the door.
Come in! The voice within sounded strange and funny, like the had a mouth filled up with food. The nurse stepped in first and told him who I was, well I was just behind she could have just let me do the introduction myself since she was having a little problem with pronouncing my name correctly. 'Doctor Edward this is Mrs. Chinwe Animasha Animashaaoon' she is clearly not Yoruba but still she seemed to get before when we were in the reception or was it the presence of the doctor that made her unstable?
'Ahh! Thank you nurse Abigail' Why do nurses bear the name Abigail? Abi is it because of the too much clinic matters I have been watching on the TV? And last I checked people with that name are usually very pretty but me i don't know about this one ohhh

' You can leave us now, emmm Mrs.Animashaun pls have a sit'

Okay guys this is the first time I am actually writing, the first book which was 'MY ANNOYING BOYFRIEND' was written by my kid sister with my account, so I just thought why not give writing a chance after all I am gonna be taking playwriting class this semester I might as well be ahead of them.
So I wanna know what you think about this little piece of mine and if y'all want me to continue or not! ☺️ It's really gonna be a lot helpful. Plus this thing you guys do about voting?🙃  Yeah, if you love it why not vote it! ☺️ Be a darling and save the koalas😍😍 (FYI I am the koala🤡) 
Also I am yet to put a cover for this beautiful story, but don't worry amma do that as soon as my lazy ass stops procrastinating😆 and most importantly this is a Nigerian story so for those who ain't Nigerians you are gonna be experiencing so technical difficulties on this plane😋 Just kidding there are gonna be some words and names that ain't in the dictionary but I will try as much as possible to put you through every chapter, as for the Nigerian readers just sit tight and enjoy the ride.
