It had been another horrible morning because of the early hour he had to wake up to but Hong-Bin had something to look forward to at the end of the day. He had his E Sports club (Electronic sports. Its a club for gaming and you can compete in tournaments, my high school has it).
He always loved E Sports club, there were other things to his day, but not positive things. He didnt want to see Han SangHyuk, SangHyuk was taller than him by a few inches. He was also the one popular kid everyone secretly wanted to be.
Sure Hong-Bin had a friend, but he was only one friend, he wanted more friends like SangHyuk. His only friend was a slightly taller male named Wonshik. Wonshik had a difficult schedule - he was in lots of sports, in a dance class, and he produces his own music at home. Not only those but Wonshik had his own friends too. He, just like SangHyuk, was popular. Wonshik wasnt as popular as Hyuk but he was still popular, Wonshik even had a crush on a guy so he never really had time for Hong-Bin since he used his free time getting to know this guy better.
Hong-Bin heaved a heavy sigh, he had an easy schedule so he often turned to video games for entertainment. Most of the time after a while the video games got very boring.
He wasn't playing video games at the moment but he had them on his mind. He couldnt play them since he had to get ready for school.
Hong-Bin quickly got ready for school. He later arrived and had plenty of free time to do as he pleased but, WonShik wasnt with him. Hong-Bin went to his locker to put his stuff away but there was something something he could've sworn he didn't put in there inside his locker.
He picked up the white envelope and looked at it with curiosity. The envelope was neatly closed, it also had a heart on it with a 'H' written beside it. Hong-Bin was indeed very confused but he decided not to question or even open the letter till he got home. He would rather pay attention to his homework.
The only reason Hong-Bin had such a hatred for SangHyuk was because of how deeply he was in love with this man. Those two had literally every class together and Hong-Bin was always distracted by SangHyuk's charm, hence why he never understood the material they studyed.
It had been an hour later and classes started a few minutes ago. The teacher was engaged in the lesson, SangHyuk was taking notes, and Hong-Bin sat in the back of the class like usual.
After a while of the teacher teaching her lesson, she had assigned them homework. The only catch was that they were assigned a partner to complete the homework with.
Hong-Bin had been assigned to be with SangHyuk. SangHyuk was the smartest in the class and had the best grades. While Hong-Bin understood the material but not enough to put full effort into it.
He let out a quiet, shaky sigh and sat next to SangHyuk, the two of them discussing the homework together.
Since it was biology class they had to take care of a plant together for several weeks and write a report on it together once the trails were done. This experiment would take about three months and the two of them decided to plant the plant at Hong-Bin's house.
The rest of the day was peaceful as the school day went, Hong-Bin and Ravi had small talk before heading off to classes and after that, home. Hong-Bin had to stay after school thought because of E-Sports club, he was the leader of said club. SangHyuk also had an after school activity, it was Student Council. A senior named Hakyeon was the president. SangHyuk was only a freshman and was the Secretary.
Hong-Bin approached his locker and as soon as he opened it another letter fell out. He studyed the letter which said 'urgent!!! Open and read now!!!'. Hong-Bin sighed and opened the letter which read:
