Luna's POV

He leaned in closer... closer....closer

Until my best friend came through the door.

"HEY LUNA I NEED HELP WITH THE FUCKIN MATH HOMEWOR- Who dat?" She pointed to Jack like a child, eyes wide and index finger pointed straight.

"Don't you know it's not nice to point?" Jack teased

Bailey rolled her eyes and turned her attention to me, sitting there with a deep red blush creeping to my face. Jack chuckled and stood up to leave.

"Wait-" Wait?! Wait?! thats all I have to say? Was he gonna kiss me? Or kill me? Make more cuts on my face?

"What happened to your face?" Bailey questioned. Great. Just what I need right now.

"U-uh Well I-" I stammered

"She fell on the side of the counter" Jack interrupted me. Jack looked at me like 'just go with it'

I nodded in agreement and felt myself relax.

Bailey's POV

Something wasn't right here. This "Jack" person was with my bestfriend. They looked as if they were going to kiss. I shrugged off the feeling and waved to Jack. He ignored me and waved to Luna. He stood in awe as she got up and gave him a hug. 'AW OTP!' I sang in my head. They would be cute together i guess. I think he's kinda cute too. Maybe if I push Luna out Jack will fall for me. I was dragged out of my fantasies when Luna smacked my shoulder

"Don't you know how to use a doorbell?!" She whisper-yelled, afraid Jack might be listening through the door.

"Sorry the math homework was hard!" I whined

she rolled her eyes and pulled out the notes to our class.

***Time skip to tonight***

Luna's POV

Finally. Finally she left. She had me going on and on for hours about Jack. What was I suppose to say? "Oh yeah, Bailey. He's the best! He kills people and oh did I forget to mention he also tried to kill me?" I guess that's not the worst part of it. The worst is that I think I'm actually falling for him. But I can't tell him. He won't come back anymore. I'll just keep to myself.' At least I can still be with him as a friend' I thought.

'You want him more as a friend. You have fallen for him Luna. Hard.' My mind corrected me. Sometimes I hate my mind and the way it works.

Jack's POV

I can't believe I tried to kiss her! What's wrong with me? I can't fall for her. She's human. Zalgo is already after her. I have to protect her before he makes her one of his corrupted souls. I got angrier and angrier just thinking about it. I've never spared one of my victims this long.

I was on my way to Luna's house. I needed to bring her to slendy mansion. She is in great danger, I need to protect her. I can't even think about losing her. I'm not sure why but she sparks my interest. I've never felt this way. Is this Love? Friendship? I'm not sure. I am determined to find out.

As i approached Luna's house I saw a hunched over figure. It had blood on its long claws. 'Rake' I mentally yelled. I gripped my knife and ran at inhuman speeds to her odd colored house. When I reached her window I saw the Rake.

"Come child, Lord Zalgo wantsssssssssssssss to sssssssssssssssee what Jacky boy isssssss getting himself into" He gripped her lower back with one arm and upper back with the other.

"Get off you fucking twat!" She spat with a hint of fear.

"Now, now Rake." I started. "We can do this the hard way, where you hand her over, or I can fucking tear you to shreds you waste of space." I said smirking, gripping my leather handle to my blade.

"If itssssssss a battle you want, itssssssssss a battle you'll get Jacky." He sang.

"DONT FUCKING CALL ME JACKY ." I yelled while charging at him with my two blades. Luna watched in horror as I cut his face.

"Ah! Damn you Jack!" He hissed. I was running towards Luna when Rake put his newly sharpened claws through her abdomen. I screamed with the black substance from my eyes leaking everywhere.

"Until later jackyyyy" The rake hissed before disappearing into a puff of black smoke.

"SLENDY!!!!" I screamed as if my life depended on it.

Slender appeared behind me and asked "What happened, child?" He cooed.

"We need to help her please!" I choked out. She's losing too much blood.

"Now!" I commanded. He nodded and slenderwalked us back to the mansion.
