The club music was making her ears ring.

It didn't help that she was drinking and had the attention of oh so many guys that night. She realised that guys had been thrusting their pelvises into her all night in an attempt to impress her. So, trying to get a breather, she went into the girls bathroom- After a 30 minute wait outside the door. -and looked at herself in the grimy mirror that was tarnishing around the edges.

Who had she come with again? Mel and Al ... Ally? ... Amanda? It didn't matter. she was done for the night. She took a moment to really look at herself. Her dirty blonde hair was sticking to the sweat on her neck and her eye make up was smudged on her left eye. Her green eyes looking tired and bloodshot. She looked at least 3 years older than her 17 year old self.

She knew one thing. It was time to leave. Her good friend Melanie had probably gone home with someone but she knew she'd be fine. Melanie was a tough cookie.

She snuck around the back thanks to the bar tender, who looked sorry for her, and called a taxi a little ways down the street. Was she in a city?
Obviously.
The little town she lived in didn't have a single club. Well, a single night club that is.
Shit.

The taxi was going to cost a fortune. Luckily she had more than a fortune in cash tonight. She got in the taxi, said her address and town and left the big city, for something a little more frightening. Her little town with her parents who would be up still, waiting for her.

Again.
