Chapter 18

A/N
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been updating like I usually do. I had some other things come up and needed to take some personal time off from writing the book.

Silver's POV
As I walk over to Tony, everyone on Cap's side were standing side by side waiting to see what Tony was going to do. But, me knowing Tony I knew he was going to talk to him and Steve wasn't going to listen. I really didn't want to be there. I didn't want to see them rip their friendship apart. I was going to tell Tony that I didn't want to be here when I heard Sebastian's voice.
"My Queen, you are needed in the underworld. Odin From Asgard is here and wants to speak with you."
I turned to Tony and could tell that he could handle this on his own. I backed away slowly so no one saw before teleporting to my kingdom.

I arrived in my chambers with a gown already laid out on my bed. I stripped out of my outfit and put the gown on. Walking over to my bathroom, I looked in the mirror and changed my hair and makeup. I left my nails as they were. I took one last look before exiting my chamber and walking into the throne room. As I walk in, I notice a man with white hair standing at the end of the steps. I walk over to my throne and sit on it.
"Angel, can you give Odin a chair so he can sit."
"Right away, m'Lady"
Angel arrives a few seconds later with a leather chair for Odin.
"You need to speak with me, Odin, King of Asgard." I said in a soft yet powerful voice.
"Yes, it was important. I hope I didn't interrupt your battle." Odin says as he puts his hands in his lap.
"You didn't, you actually saved me. I didn't want to watch them tear their friendship apart."
"I see. So, you've grown fond of the human race."
"Yes, I have. They are nice. I've seen how they fight just to protect someone they love. They have many emotions. It's fascinating at how their emotions can change in a blink of an eye though." I said with a smile on my face. "Anyways, you needed to speak to me?"
"I came to tell you that you need to pick one. I know that you know what I'm talking about." Odin says with a stern voice.
"Yes, I know. But, I just don't know how." I said.
"You've meet the super soldier."
"I know but he's human. He would eventually die and I would still be alive." I said pointing out that I'm also immortal.
"If you choose my son, he wouldn't love you. I love him but he's a trickster. He would bring out that dark side you keep down. The human on the other hand will love you. He will bring out the good side. You could make him immortal by letting him drink from the river that passes through the living and the dead. That would solve the human problem." Odin explains.
"That is his decision to make." I say.
"Don't think about it child. Let your heart make the decision. It knows" Odin says before standing up "Your heart will make the right decision, I must be going. It was nice to talk to you, Silver."
"It was a pleasure to talk to you as well, Odin." I watch as he walks out of the throne room. Let my heart make the decision. What was that supposed to mean.
I walked back to my chambers wondering what they guys were doing. Are they still fighting? I was starting to worry. Maybe I should leave to see if they're okay. I walked into my chambers and locked the door behind me. I slipped out of the gown and when into the shower. As the hot water ran down my back, I have a strange feeling in my heart.What's happening to me? I've never felt this before.
"Sebastian, something is wrong with me!" I called out to him.
I hear flapping wing and then a shape of a person out side of the curtain. He pulled the curtain back and helped me to my bed.
"Something's wrong with my heart. Am I dying?" I asked frightened that I might die. I looked at Sebastian and saw him chuckling.
"What. Why are you laughing. I'm might be dying." I said.
" You're not going to die. Something is just wrong with your soulmate. It happens to me a lot. " Sebastian says looking at me.
"My soulmate? Wait, you have a soulmate. Who is it?" I said to him.
"It's Angel. That's why you're parents wanted us to watch over you. It's also the reason we are always together and picking on each other."
" Oh, I didn't even know. But then how would I know my soulmate? " I asked him.
"You will feel a pull towards them. You feel like your whole life is to protect them, love them, and cherish them. You would do anything just to be with them." My eyes widen at his words. I realize that I already met mine.
" Barnes, he's my soulmate. " I said and looked up at Sebastian.
"Yes, you might need to get some rest. Tomorrow, you'll need to go against Tony before he takes away your soulmate."
" Right, Goodnight Sebastian. I also think it's cute that Angel is your soulmate. " I said to him as he walks towards the door.
"Thank you, Sleep well, My Queen"
As he closed the door, I throw in a nightgown and laid down in my bed, drifting off to a deep slumber.
