Three hours Twelve minutes sixteen seconds before murder
Drinks were passed around, most to Steven. Laughter and stories passed around. Most at Stevens expense. After all after 30 years of lawyer work. He had alot of experiences and stories. Today marked his last week at work before he retired to spend time with his family, his wife and two kids, with another on the way. It was time to go and restart life. He'd saved enough money to never work again but he was probably going to start his own firm. If he wasnt going to die in a little over three hours. Of course he didn't know that, did he, he was going to live life to its fullest with free drinks until he went home to his wife and kids, that's what he thought.
One hour fifty-seven minutes and six seconds before murder
Steven was blind drunk with alcohol and decided he catch a cab home, only to realize he had no money in his wallet to hail a cabbie. He decided to walk home.
Thirteen minutes before murder
The buzz of the crowd was dead so a very drunk Steven finished his last drink and decided to leave the party, a few colleagues offered to drive him home as an excuse to leave. Steven declines knowing they where all just as drunk as him and left the party staggering what would normally be fifteen minutes. He stopped to puke and walked before seeing a shadow to his left, he ignored it thinking it was either paranoia from being alone at his weakest or his drunken state providing him some hallucinations to keep him company on the work home
Thirty-two seconds before murder
Steven couldn't ignore the shape any longer, he glanced over and noticed a slim figure he recognized immediately, he smiled "hey b-" the figure punched him against the concrete wall behind him, knocking the breath out of him, the figure bent down to look him in the eyes "you've done this country a service, I'm sorry it had to be this way but my boss pays better then our relationship" he spun Steven against the wall, took Stevens gun from the holster on Stevens hip and shot him in the back of the head three times. There was a shout behind him, a coworker had followed Steve home as he only lived three blocks from Steve, the hitman ran from Stevens corpse and disappeared in a nearby tunnel. Scott free forever. The co worker ran over to Steve in a sobering fashion and called 911 immediately
