Chapter 30: Hurry (急ぐ)

Walking to your brother's location, you noticed that Sanemi was at the estate where he wouldn't be disturbed.

As you come in, you see your brother and him with wooden swords.
"Giyuu?"
He looks at you and noticed your change.
"(Y/n)—"
"Hey, Stop talking dammit! Come on!"

Sanemi strikes Giyuu first with his first form, which Giyuu retaliates with his water form.
"Too slow!"

But soon Giyuu pierces Sanemi's wooden sword and breaks it, as well as Giyuu's.

They're very strong.

"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" Giyuu asks.
"I was looking for you so we could train together"

Giyuu walks up to you and pets your head lovingly.
"...why did you change your hair?"
You blushed in embarrassment because you didn't want him to know it was all for his attention.

"...because I wanted to" you mumbled.
"Hey!"

Giyuu and you turned to see an angry looking Sanemi.
"If you're done with all this sappy sibling shit Giyuu, it's time pummel each other to death with our fists"

Sanemi cracks his knuckles and soon was about to get ready to strike Giyuu, until Tanjiro came out of nowhere.

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Tanjiro came out of the bamboos.

Was he eavesdropping?

"Tanjiro, when did you get here?"
"I was fine with all my other training, so I wanted to see find Giyuu and train with him, too. But seeing how things were going to get out of hand, I thought I'd stop it" he said.

You didn't think that things were gonna get out of control. Knowing Sanemi he can be quite violent, but he wouldn't go as far as to kill a fellow hunter.

Not that you know of.

"Shut up, dammit. You ain't even suppose to be get me. And you dared to peek in on us, you little twerp" Sanemi growls.

"Can't we all just share some ohagi or something? I'll make enough of them to fill your tummies, so..."

"Ohagi?" You held a questionable look.
"Making fun of me now, huh..." Sanemi started to spill his deadly aura on Tanjiro.

Tanjiro then started to panic.
"Wha? No, no, I'm serious! You like ohagi don't you, Shinazugawa? When I was training at your place, I smelled the slight fragrance of mochi flour the whole time...nice smell"

You imagined Sanemi eating mochi and holding a relaxed face.

"Cute..." you mumbled.
"Shitheads"

"Shinazugawa...you like ohagi?" Giyuu asks.
"Ohagi is delicious! Do you like them crushed or coarse red beans. I loved my grandma's ohagi, and—"

Sanemi soon snapped from his irritation and punched Tanjiro to the point that he flew in the air. Soon Sanemi walked out.

You wanted to scold Sanemi, but you wanted to check if Tanjiro was okay. He only had a little bruise but he was unconscious for the moment.
