The third hokage scratched at his head, confused as he stared at his papers. Why was it confusing him? Why did he feel anger? As if to answer his question, his door flew open. Kakashi and Gai walked in, struggling to keep a grip on the chains in their hands. At the end of the chains, was a beautiful girl.
"Hokage-same! Ed found this weird girl in the woods, but we got her!" Gai panted. Steel cuffs bound her wrists together behind her back as she looked at the old man with a smirk.
The hokage tilted his head, finally feeling the anger coming off of her. But she did not seem angry, she looked happy.
"Why are you here?" The hokage asked. "Why were you near my village?"
The girl blinked, before smiling. "I felt the need to visit Konoha. I want to learn about your village. Maybe even join. You never know." Sarcasm dripped from each word, before she rolled her eyes. She was confusing the hokage, and she knew it.
"I don't understand." He told her.
She titled her head to the sky, letting out a bell like laugh. "Of course, you wouldn't. You must be slow or something." Kakashi let out an indignant shout, but the old man just waved his hand. He watched as she dropped her eyes to his. He gasped, recognizing and noticing the wisdom and mischief in her eyes. The girl was older than she looked, obviously, as she smiled with suddenly cold and unfeeling eyes.
"Now do you see?" She asked, making the old man nod his head. "So, can I stay?"
With a simple shake of his head, he'd cleared his thoughts away. "Of course. But you will start off at the academy.
The girl flashed him a sinister smile, still managing to get the old man to marvel at her beauty. "Now, seeing as you were busy, I'll be going."
He sighed and nodded, signaling for Kakashi and Gai to un-cuff her. "What is your name?"
She smiled, a half hearted laugh slipping from her lips. "Chi."
Then, she was led out of the room, her new house keys in hand. The girls name echoed in his mind as he thought of the meaning.
It took him only seconds after she left to figure the meaning out. And when he did, he was slightly horrified. The girls name had a meaning of cruelty.
Blood.
