The elements

Chapter 1

*Eric's POV*
A bright light is shining in the dark. I reach out with my hand to grab it. I can feel the heat generating from the glowing object. "Is this fire?" I thought to myself. Once I got a hold of it I heard a loud bellowing sound. I turned around and saw him...... or it I should say. It was always a dark figure but took a different shape every time. It spoke to me and told me it will find me sooner or later. Then it threw its hand in the air and electricity flew out of it hitting me......

I woke up frightened. Why do I keep having the same dream over and over again? I got up out of bed, startled, when my alarm clock went off. Saturday..... it was such a good day out. The sun was shining bright. The clouds were no where in sight. I started my day off by getting dressed then heading downstairs.

"Sweetie, breakfast is on the table" said my mom. "I'm not hungry mom. But thanks anyways." I said. "Ok. If you change your mind it will be in the microwave." "Thanks." I grabbed the house phone and decided to call my best friend Michael and tell him about the dream. For some reason Michael, Alyssa, Chloe, and I have been having the same dream. But a little different. The phone had rung 4 times before he picked up. "Hello", said Michael. "Hey, its me. I had that dream again last night." "Dude so did I!!! But he electrocuted me this time. Weird huh?" He said. "Actually yea. Cause it happened with me too. Do you think it happened to the girls also?" I said already freaked out because the same thing happened to both of us. "Only one way to find out. Let's text them and tell them to meet us at the park." He said. "Ok" I said.

We texted the girls and told them to meet us at the state park. When I arrived Chloe was the first one there. Then Michael came. After Michael it was Alyssa.

"What do you guys want?" Chloe asked, feeling a little annoyed. Before I had a chance to say anything, Michael beat me to it. "We had that dream again. Eric called me and told me this morning. We wanted to know if you two had the dream also." He said. "That's what you wanted us for?" Chloe asked. "Yea." I said. "What was the dream about? If it had that dark figure thing in it and threw electricity then yes. I had that dream." Said Alyssa. Chloe angrily commented back "why in The fuck are we the ones with the dreams? I told my parents about it and they told me I was crazy." The ground started to shake and we all grabbed a hold of each other to keep balance. "Wha- what was that?" Alyssa asked. " Idk but we usually never get earthquakes." I said. Michael looked too scared to say anything. Chloe looked at them,"what are you talking about? I didn't feel a thing." Chloe said. She looked scared too. But she was trying to hide it.

She didn't feel it? How?

"Chloe, how did you not feel that earthquake?" Michael asked as if he was reading my mind. "I didn't feel a thing, Michael!" She replied.

I wasn't sure if I believed her or not. Strange things keep happening to us. We need to get to the bottom of this. "Alright. We'll talk about this tomorrow in school. As of right now, let's all get home." I said.
