Sirius sighed as he slowly look up, hesitant to what it would mean if he walked through the big gapping doors. When he was younger, he promised himself he would never come back here, but seeing as Remus, HIS Remus was in there, he would certainly go in. That was another thing he was dreading, Remus.
He hadn't seen him in 12 years and he didn't know how to greet himself. Would they hug, would they fight, would they kiss?....Most definitely not, because if he was being honest, he wasn't sure if Remus was truly His anymore...He closed his eyes, let out a shaky breathe and slowly opened the giant entry way doors. He looked to his right and saw those disgusting. creaky stairs, which as you walked up, portrayed pictures and autographs of his 'family' members. To his left, the giant beautiful kitchen, but what's so beautiful about it was the man standing there, in a corduroy sweater vest, leaning against a counter, enjoy a cup of coffee, as he read the newspaper.
He analyzed his face as he read, eyes squinting when he saw something he couldn't believe, face relaxing when he got to the part of analysis, where they would talk about potions, or something interesting to him.He stared at Remus, which he, on his own, had now decided was His remus, wether he liked it or not, as he saw Remus raise an eyebrow at the open door, and then seeing Sirius. Remus's mouth dropped but quickly closed as he scurried over to the door, dragging Sirius in, and closing the door. He waved his wand, which Sirius flinched too, thinking he was going to be hexed. instead, a heating charm was placed on him, as he relaxed. "Merlin you must be freezing!"
Remus said as he dusted off his shoulders, and slowly looked at him. They stood, staring, the one at the other, not believing they were with each other for a minute. As they enjoyed the bliss Remus cut the silence and spoke, "I know." Sirius rose an eyebrow and spoke, not as confident as he wished he could speak. "Y-you know what?" Remus sighed and looked up at the ceiling, with a mangled expression. "I know it wasn't you..." Sirius immediately knew what he was talking about, and he thought of something. Sure he went to Azkaban for being framed, but Remus, HIS Remus, had to cope with the fact that he lost everyone, and everything.
Had to cope with the fact that his lover was a 'murderer', and knowing his Remus, he probably blamed himself. Sirius quickly wrapped his arms around the taller man and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry" He muttered, and with that the two men spent the whole night crying, and holding each other, enjoying the bliss of being with one another.
Hope you enjoyed :)
