POV: Johnnie(Death's Contractor)
"Hey!! Where am I supposed to be headed!" I said to the crimson tinted skies that were the border between this realm and the next. The skies ranged from a hazy purplish hue to a more delicate pink as I continued tracking my next target. She was a daily hit as it was my soon to be ex wife I was hunting. Everyday I'd find her and hope she wasn't drinking or collapsing. Neither was related to the other but was the end result of my findings the last two days. Today I decided to head toward the gate and with every gate was a keeper. He or she would be able to give me my destination as it would be the only place I was allowed to enter beyond this place.
A few hours later...
"Your late!" Screamed the gatekeeper as I tried to petition their words. "I am always late!" I said to them. I watched as they kept holding their position upon the gate. I could see my old home behind him. Blue skies, blue oceans, and the blue eyes of the children that sat upon a beach somewhere I'd never been. "Do you understand?" They yelled at me. "Yes I understand!" I yelled back. I didn't but there was a disturbance that began to grow in pressure. An aura even began to form, it took on three to four different shades of green and the blue from the eyes of those children faded. The gatekeeper then stood aside and a burst of energy that took on the form of a liquid with no color only transparency as it's definition moved toward me. It then seized me and once again Earth would be my home.
POV: John Pearson
Well... We were still in the temple but now there was a light that lit up everything. The walls with the weird greenish blue symbols were outlined in red and also had the shape of an arrow. "I think we should go that way!" I yelled at the others. Ayinde was still shaky but conscious and muttering about Nicole while Corpion and Omar moved to quickly pick him up again. As they did they stared at him. "Do you think he'll-" they both began to say but I was already walking the way the arrowed letterhead of symbols pointed. It pointed up but I figured it meant ahead, like this way to the elevator gentlemen.
As we walked on I began to see the pyramid open up. There were insignias everywhere along with different depictions of the symbol for house Sagittarius. They grew in size as did the corridors and ceilings. I looked up and spied a sundial looking instrument perched very high up. It jutted from the pyramid walls like some kind of ceremonial gateway. I looked back again to see them putting Ayinde down. He slumped over and proceeded to sleep. Corpion spoke first: "So how do we get up there?". "We don't but Omar?" I said as he began levitating just an inch of the ground. The pyramid walls responded with a small red pulse of visible energy that traveled along the walls. When it passed water, very hot water began to trickle like little streams out of the walls and began slowly filling our area. I watched as Omar and Corpion both drew water to them and flew up toward the sundial. I turned away and peered over at Ayinde as he sat up. "What's with the steaming hot water? Any hotter and we'll be boiled alive." He called out as the water level grew and now matched the level of our ankles. It began to sting, but Ayinde's eyes began to turn blue as he lifted off the ground and headed toward me. "I'll be fine just help those two idiots get us outta here." I called over. He changed course and lifted off toward them. I then turned to view the way we'd come from, it was growing dark but in the distance I could still see the bluish green symbols left behind by Nicole for us.
