•Justin's POV•
I stepped out the door and headed down the street, ducking into the nearest cafe to get some coffee and a muffin. I grabbed a seat near the window so I could watch people rush passed, busy in their everyday life's. I wonder how many people did the same things everyday. Walking in the same direction as always, never taking a step off the paths they took everyday. Not daring to take a chance and mess up their whole schedule.
I turned back to my muffin as I pulled my phone out if my pocket. Opening up twitter and mindless my scrolling through my timeline as I ate. I decided I should probably text Jesse to let him know I'm down the street and not at my apartment.
Jesse I'm at the cafe down the street. Text me and let me know when u leave ur house so I can meet you outside the apt complex.>
I finished my muffin and thew the casing in the garbage before setting back down. The cafe was rather empty. Just me and some woman who obviously was to preoccupied with he computer to even eat what she had ordered.A few minutess later I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. It was a text from Jesse saying they where leaving now. I finished my drink and put a tip in the baristas jar before heading out the door.
When I reached my apartment Jesse wasn't there yet. I just stood on the curb waiting. A few minutes later I remembered I had forgotten my Mickey Mouse conducters hat ,rushing inside my apartment and you the stairs. When I got to my door I was out of breath. It really wasn't nessary to run. I'm sure I had plenty of time.
Nope. I didn't.
As soon as I stepped foot into my apartment I heard the honking.
"Just a minute! " I yelled only then questioning why I had in the first place considering they couldn't hear me.
Grabing my hat and racing out the door , almost tripping as I ran down the stairs. Lucky I caught myself or I would have face planted and rolled down two flights of stairs.
Not stopping I kept running out the door and straight to the car. I swong the door open and got in without looking.
"Well Hello!" I heard as I set down on what had obviously not been the car seat, wacking my forehead against the car top. These words where followed by a cackle that could never be mistaken as anyone else.
"Jesus, Tyler! " I said standing up out side of the car. My face was slightly flushed with embarrassment. " I didn't know anyone else was riding with us. "
Jesse chimed in then , " It was last minute. Now come on. Get in. Everyone is already there. "
"Scoot over. " I said to Tyler, watching him unbuckle and slide across the seat before I got in and closed the door. Just then Justin pulled out his phone.
"Everyone say Mickey! " he shouted as I put my hat on to pose for the picture. He handed Jesse the phone before putting the car in drive and pulling away from the curb.
It wasn't a long drive. About 45 minutes because of the traffic. Jesse had the radio turned up and everyone was singing along to what ever song came on. I looked over to Tyler who of course was singing the loudest out if the group. He was all decked out in Disney. His Micky mouse shirt and his little red cap with his names embroidered on the back. He was the most excited out of us all, even though we all knew he goes six times a month.
It was his happy place. He went when he was stressing and worrying alot and when he came back he was as good as new. How could anyone blame him for being this excited about his happy place.
