Landed on Mercury

Where am I?

Chapter 1:

Brian's P. O. V. (at night)

I climbed into my bed happily, knowing that Rachel, a hedgehog that Anne and I saved last week had undergone her surgery successfully.

Rachel had suffered an infection on her right back leg. Unfortunately, she had to have her injured leg amputated because her infection was so severe it may be dangerous for her life. However, I'm glad that she's finally safe now.

I slept and dreamt about Freddie.

"Hey Bri! Come and join me at my party!" Freddie told me excitedly. He looked like his 39 years old self.

"Where's your party?" I asked him, excited about all the strange and interesting people I will probably meet at his party.

"I'm joking darling! I'm not having a party!" Freddie laughed.

Freddie did something I did not expect he would do. He pushed me from the back and suddenly I was falling down, falling into... nowhere!

Then, I landed on something soft on the ground, not knowing where I am. The soft thing squealed!

Chapter 2:

Brian's P. O. V.

I got up and found a badger cub on the ground. Oh poor little thing! I fell on him! I also found Rachel laying safe and sound on the ground next to the baby badger.

I picked up the badger cub and examined him. Miraculously, he was not injured at all. I decided to name him Party after the my dream about Freddie.

I still don't know where I am, mumbling to myself: "Where am I now?"

Party started talking. "We're on planet Mercury."

"What?!" I gasped, horrified that Party could talk and just told me I was on planet Mercury.

Chapter 3:

Brian's P. O. V.

"We've got to find Flurry, my fox friend." Party said calmly.

"I don't know what situation I'm in now." I cannot process everything around me. I was too scared to ask Party why he is able to communicate with humans, and why am I here on Mercury.

"Don't worry Brian, we'll think of a way to get us back to planet Earth." Party told me. "Flurry and I were invited by Freddie to his party yesterday and we ended up here. He told us we're in planet Mercury and vanished. Here, Flurry and I gained the ability to talk in human language."

"But why did Flurry gone missing?" I asked Party. I never imagined that I would be able to communicate properly with a badger!

Chapter 4:

Party sighed. "Flurry thought that he wanted to explore Mercury all by himself and left me behind. I can't find him."

"We should search for him." I picked Rachel up with my handkerchief and she woke up.

"Where are we Brian?" Rachel asked me. I nearly dropped her out of fright. Rachel's eyes widened, clearly surprised she could talk to me too.

"We're in planet Mercury." I stroked her gently.

Party explained the whole situation to Rachel and they get along with each other very well.

We walked together, searching for Flurry and spotted something very strange.

We saw a plantation of seaweeds that grow from the ground!

Chapter 5:

Brian's P. O. V.

Our jaws dropped. What did I just saw?

"Hey look! I found Flurry!" Party ran towards the seaweed plantation and I followed him. We found Flurry in the middle of the plantation, eating seaweed.

"Brian May..." Flurry gasped as he saw me. I laughed and hugged the red fox.

"Let's eat seaweed and explore Mercury!" Rachel shouted. We all laugh and started eating raw seaweed.

Eating seaweed did remind me of the memories when Queen toured Japan for the first time. We ate at Japanese restaurants and enjoyed sushi. Since then, Rog started to love Japanese food, and I, inevitably, also fell in love with Japanese cuisine.

"Hiya my darlings!" Freddie appeared, surprising all of us.

Chapter 6:

Freddie sat beside us and picked up some seaweed. Rachel, Party and Flurry were all so excited to meet him.

"Let's go and explore this planet later." Freddie told us. "It's very interesting!"

After we are full, we explored this foreign planet together. We spotted a place that seemed to be like a dessert and headed there. Freddie told us that the sand produced music when we stepped on them.

We had a lot of fun jumping up and down on the sand. Freddie and I figured out how to play some Queen songs with the sand. We play many songs like '39, Don' t Stop Me Now... The list goes on. Everybody were ecstatic. Rachel, Party and Flurry cheered with us.

I never thought I would survive on planet Mercury, I'm probably jumping and singing right here on this planet with Freddie because I'm dreaming. Planet Mercury is not a place for humans to live, I'm sure of that!

"Bri, I think it's time you have to go back to your spaceship." Freddie told me as we finished singing Headlong.

"What?" I'm confused. Freddie led me to a spaceship and pushed me, Rachel, Party and Flurry through the door.

Freddie smiled to us. "Thank you all for coming to my party here! Bye bye!"

Sadness rose to my heart. I don't want to leave Freddie behind and leave for Earth. Not now.

Chapter 7:

But before we knew it, we were on our way back to Earth. Rachel, Party and Flurry had all lose their ability to talk. I cuddled and played with them to get my mind off the sadness of leaving Freddie.

I also saw Earth from outer space for the first time. The scenery was magnificent.

We landed safely on Earth and climbed out of the spaceship. People around us clapped and congratulate me that I've finished my mission on planet Mercury. What mission? I don't know.

Then, I woke up. Anita beamed at me. "So, how's your mission on planet Mercury yesterday? You haven't told me about it and went straight to bed last night."

"I thought I was only dreaming about landing on Mercury?" I asked her.

"No, you're not dreaming. Why do you think that you're only dreaming?"

I pinched myself. It was painful.

So, this wasn't a dream?
