The following week was the hard on the pack. They were trying to get on with the campers while trying to get over the loss of the alpha. As Tyr predicted, Charlie had died mere minutes after getting back to camp and nobody could figure out why. The fight between Tyler and Percy had seemed to spark many more and the atmosphere between the two sides was tense. Being both half-blood and wolf Percy was able to break up most of the fights but it was becoming increasingly difficult.

Now that the camp knew what they were up against everyone had been doing research on Norse mythology. Percy was also looking into it and the more he was going to read about Fenrir, untill beowulf stop him.

He soon zone out as he heard someone come up from behind him. He marked his page and turned to face the person to find the one person he hoped never to talk to again. It was Annabeth.

Beowulf told him not to bolt like any animal would but he would look like a coward. He wasn't afraid of Annabeth. Only a year ago he would be overjoyed to have time with her.

She sat down beside him but didn't say anything. They stayed like that for a while until Annabeth couldn't take it anymore.

"Why won't you talk to me" she asked. Percy was stunned hearing her voice for the first time since she broke his heart a year ago.
