Y/n's POV
I was laying in the grass in the fields near the waterfall Ivy used to take me when I was younger. Breathing the fresh air, scent of flowers, hearing the water crash and roar as it hit the lake, but most importantly the warmth I got from it. It was my safe place, my happy place. I closed my eyes and felt the sun hit my cheeks, the U.V. rays filling my skin with the warmth it needs on a beautiful summers day. Then a shadow blocked my warmth. I pouted, the stage of euphoria decreasing. I opened my eyes to see whom this person is absorbing my sunshine.
"If you lay out in the sun too long, you'll get sunburnt." The boy said who was standing over me. I smiled and reached my hand out.
"You should join me then, keep track of time so we're not fried shrimp." I replied as he took his hand into mine and laid down beside me. The dandelions beneath him being squashed and the slight breeze picking up just a little bit. I turned my head from the sky and turned it towards the boy. His eyes were closed, soaking in the warmth through his solid green hoodie. Even though he has multiple pairs, some which I may or may not have stolen, he always looked good in them.
I studied his features in his face. His golden hair that only grew more blonde in the sun, his skin light but not fair. Enough for a sunburn to be present but not too harmful if obtained by one. His lashes fluttering through the cool breeze, and his lips. His pink lips that I so yearned to kiss. His kisses were like a drug, addicting and comforting. His light freckles across his nose blossomed in the sunshine. Filling my heart with adoration, affection, and passion. He opened one emerald eye towards me. The orbs that could steal my focus anywhere and I can get lost into anytime. They were hypnotizing, enchanting, and overall beautiful.
"Are you staring at me again?" He asked with a grin plastered on his face. I threw on a sheepish grin and shrugged.
"I can't help it, I really think you're the looks of the relationship." I confessed before reluctantly tearing my gaze away to look at the uniquely shaped clouds above us. He just chuckled and shook his head.
"You're wrong, but I will accept the compliment, babe." He argued with a wink that filled my chest with butterflies and made the blush return to my cheeks. He gently placed his hand on my cheek, cupping it with one hand, then slowly bringing my face towards his for a sweet kiss...
"Y/n!! You're on in 10 minutes!! Are you even dressed yet??? We still have makeup and hair to do!!" My manager knocks on the door while shouting through it. I was startled by the sudden change in scenary. I stared forward at myself in the mirror, staring at the reflection. My eyes shimmed to the side to a photo that was the catalyst of my daydreaming. It was Lloyd and I at the forest. Ivy and I had picnics there all the time before she died a year ago. It was our last day of hanging out before-
"Y/n!!! It is your makeup artist! How is Stewart Santos supposed to work makeup if the canvas isn't ready!!!" My makup artist talks in the third person. I've learned to not ask questions and get used to it.
"I'm sorry, guys! I was in the bathroom! I will be ready in a minute!" I reassured them while standing up to go grab my concert outfit. Last concert, last night on tour, last day I'm away from Lloyd. I can't wait to see him tomorrow. There was a lot of cequence and sparkles on the clothing, but at least it wasn't a disco ball or abstract futuristic one. I've seen performance outfits, the designers go all out. Even better, it's just a fit-forming black dress with one sleeve and my shoes are bedazzled black converse. So it's basically me but sparkly and shiny. After I threw the dress on quickly, I put my robes on again so no hair stuff or makeup will get on my dress.
