We met the boys at the local pub, luckily they we're already there when we turned up, they brought us a drink and we all got chatting. Me and dean hit it off straight away having some banter, after what felt like half an hour the lads all look over us and start calling jesse over. Straight away I thought shit!!! All the girls give me a cheeky grin but when we turn around that soon wiped off their faces, he's holding hands with some brunette! We catch eachother eye an both just freeze, he walks over to is all and says hi to the lads then turns and looks at me "hey what you doing here?" "Just moved here and bumped into the lads" "no way that's pretty cool! You fancy a drink?" "Nah I'm good thanks I've got one, shouldn't you be getting back to your date?" "Oh yeah I best, see you around yeah?" "Yeah probably" I turn back around and see the girls faces all with there mouths open a little just staring at me "well that wasn't awkward" I said trying the brake the ice "haha nah not at all" dean chimes in, I nudge him with my elbow at his comment and start laughing "don't tell me he's been with that girl since before he went to Bali?" The lads all look like they don't know what to say "don't worry I'm not one of those crazy girls that as soon as you kiss someone your attached to them and go a little mad haha" "haha nah they've Been on and off for a few months" koby says "mainly off though" jake adds.

After a couple of drinks we're all quite merry, we start getting hungry so the boys take us to a takeaway and the. Come back to ours. We're all slobbing about the living room once we've all eaten and decide to carry on drinking! We've got the music on and all having a laugh, Charlotte and matt and Lauren and jake look like there hooking up the way there dancing on the boys, me and dean are in the kitchen when I decide to head to bed "you can crash here if you wanted" "yeah if you don't mind, I can't be fucked to walk home" "sure it's fine, looks like the sofa taken though, you can share my bed if you want, no funny business though haha" "nah course not 1) jesse would be pissed 2) could make it awkward and 3) we would get on better as friends" "exactly!! Now come on il show you uostairs" we head to my room he takes get into bed with his boxers and T-shirt on while I go get changed into my pjs in the bathroom. Once I'm in bed we start just chatting about our past dean asks "so why made you move to australia?" "Erm a few things really, I came here when I was 9 so like 12 years ago but we went to Perth and I just fell in love with this place! Job opportunities in sydney we're better and I lost some people close to me so decided to just get away from it all, where I'm from everyone either knows your business or has heard twisted rumours about it" "I see, if you don't mind me asking what happened at home?" "No it's fine, well erm my fiancé and 2 year old daughter were in his car as a drunk driver lost control of his car and hit there's and they both died instantly at the seen" I say with sadness in my voice as it all come back to me " he turns to face me and just simply says "I'm sorry" I couldn't stop the tear from rollin down my cheek as he wipes it away I just smile at him "thanks" "what for?" "For not being like most blokes and either running away when they hear daughter or see a girl cry and for being so sweet!" After our little chat we quickly fall asleep.

We all swapped numbers and said to meet up again, I was starting my first day at the barbers I was all dressed and ready to go so I walk down rather than driving my car that I picked up the day before. I decided to wear some black skinny jeans and a baggy tartan thin strapped top with my black ankle boots and leather jacket as the weather wasn't great today. I walk in a frog greets me and so does tom who also works here, he's just qualified but trained here so he know everything and how it goes down, I was really excited, the way getting clients worked was first come first serve so frog and Tom had the first two then I went, it was so busy today considering it was a week day, I hasn't managed to check my phone but when I did I saw I had a few messages one from my mum seeing how work was, I quickly replied an said we can FaceTime later that day, one from the girls saying good luck today, I replied with "thanks girls! You to, how mad we all start our new jobs on the same day, see you when we're all home xxx" the last one was from dean seeing if I wanted to grab a coffee with him, I rang him back as it's easier "hey lovely" "hey kens(my nickname) you get my text?" "Yeah that's why I was ringing, it's calmed down here for a bit if your free now?" "Oh yeah cool I'm taking my lunch in a minute so il meet you at the coffee shop over the road from your work" "perfect see you soon" we said goodbyes after he told me what he wanted for lunch. I went over and ordered our food and drinks and when over to take a seat by the window. Dean turns up and give me a kiss on the cheek to greet me, we start catching up and chatting when he starts waving at someone over the road, 2 older ladies, they cross the road an come in to say hi to dean, he then introduces me "oh sorry this is Kensie, she's just moved here from England" "oh how exciting, are you likening it here?" "Anyway got to run see you around hopefully" "yeah I'm sure I will" me an dean start laughing to eachother then had to head back to work "so you free this weekend?" "I'm working Saturday but free Sunday why?" "Oh a few of us lads are going paint balling and was thinking you girls could come" "no way I love paint balling, just don't get me in the face haha" "haha il try not to, il speak to you nearer the time" I give him a kiss on the cheek and head back to work, I just keep thinking how sweet he is and how friendly we're becoming already, I love it because we have so much banter and such a laugh but we don't flirt or take it to far like we both know we don't fancy eachother.
