~[Romans POV]~

It was a morning like any other, and by that I mean I was woken up once again by my rude, sarcastic, equerry.

Deceit: "WAKE THE F*CK UP YOU TWO A**FACES!"

I hear my equerry screams while banging together two pots. Because of all the noise I end up falling off my bed in a panic.

Roman: "goddam you. What the hell gives you the authority to wake me and
unfortunately, My brother up like that?!"

Deceit: "even though I soooo love hearing you complain all the time I don't have time for this. Now help me wake up your brother."

Roman: "I'm sure your ruckus woke him up just fine snake boy."

Deceit: "well genius, don't you think if he was awake he'd be saying something."

I look at my brothers bed to see nothing but lumps under the blanket. I watch deceit rip off the covers to reveal nothing but a few pillows and a note, as deceit reads the note in his head I can see his face morf into disappointment.

Roman: "what does it say?"

Deceit: *sigh* "it says 'respect the drip Karen'"

Deceit: "well now I can go out on a search for your brother like I've always dreamed."

Roman: "really? That's your dream, to go out in the rain and search for possibly hours?"

Deceit: "dipsh*t I was being sarcastic."

Then I watch deceit walk out of my room.

Roman: "well I might as well get ready"

~[Roman finished getting ready]~

Just as I finished putting my socks on I hear a creak coming from the window, as I turn I see a dark figure climbing through the window. Obviously I do what any sane person would and YEET my shoe at their face.

???: "OWWW THAT HURT!!!!"

???: "KINKY!"

Roman: "Goddam it Remus."

The figure takes off his hood to reveal my twisted brother, Remus..

Roman: "Where wore you?! You know your not aloud out of the castle. Deceit is out looking for you"

Remus: "nice that means we have a while without the babysitter~"

Roman: "I can't belie-"

*Hisssss*

I hear a hissing sound and see its coming from a lump in Remus's  jacket

Romans: "what's in your jacket?"

Remus: *sigh* "Roman I have news.. I-I'm pregnant, and your the father"

Roman: "your my brother remember?"

Remus: "yeah."

Roman: "and we're both guys."

Remus: "I know"

Roman: "just tell me what's in your hood."

Remus: "I already told you I'm pr-"

Just then a black and.. purple? Cat jumps out of Remus's jacket, the cat is obviously anxious and runs to the window as fast as he can desperately trying to escape. But before the cat can get out Remus locks it closed.

Roman: "is that a damm cat??"

Remus: "YEP!"

Roman: "wHY?!"

Remus: "well I saw this dude who looked pretty HAWT so I tried to say hi, but when I started to approach him he ran round a corner when I looked around the corner all I saw was this cat. It was a meeting caused by fate"

Roman: "well it seems the cat wants to be free not trapped with you" I gesture to the cat clawing at the window lock almost as if it knows that it unlocks the window.

Remus: "well that sucks for him because i bought this!" Remus says before dramatically pulling out a bag with a emblem from one of our neighbouring kingdoms. from the bag he pulled out a metal collar, as soon as the kitten saw the collar for some reason he started completely freaking out. Before the cat could do any real damage Remus grabbed the cat and locks the collar.

Roman: " what does that collar even do?"

Remus: "weeeeeellllllll it's basically a high tech shock collar so if little Anx here tries to escape then he'll be shocked so much he passes out allowing me to retrieve him and bring him home!"

Roman: "what type of monster would want to do that to a animal??" as i said that the cat looked up from his pile of mopeing furiously nodding in agreement

Remus: "well actually they only made this collar for cats and there are only three versions."

Roman: "wait why so little collars??" i asked confused

Remus: "pshhh do you think i asked? who cares. now that i have a cat i can become a crazy witch!"

Roman: "well you already have the crazy part down." i could here a sound from the cat almost like it was snickering at my joke.

Roman: "but the problem is that i don't think deceit would allow the cat."

Remus: "oh foolish brother i see you have yet to realize my charm." remus said smirking

a few hours later:

~[Romans POV]~
it was a few hours later and i was at my desk drawing because i finished my royal duty's early. Anxiety which is what Remus decidedly name the cat was watching me draw curled on my desk half asleep. it was quite and peaceful for once because Remus was in the shower witch is a few hallways down so i didn't have to listen to him belt the lyrics to fergalicious. all was silent.

Deceit: "I SWEAR TO GOD IF REMUS ISN'T HERE IM GOING TO BEAT EVERY GUARD IN THIS BUILDING TILL THEY DIE." i hear deceit yell from out the hall startling the cat in the process. then followed by deceit kicking down my and my brothers bedroom door (even though it was unlocked)

Roman: "welcome to my room i guess?" i say to a soaking wet deceit, while at the same time moving the cat onto my lap in hopes to calm him.(it worked btw)

Deceit: "WTF IS THAT A MEGA RAT OR SOMETHING?!" deceit yelled pointing to anxiety

Roman: "it's Remus's pet cat. can we keep  him??" i say holding up the cat

Deceit: "I DONT CARE I HAVE TO GO BEAT YOUR BROTHER." deceit yells once more before taking him and his drenched clothes out in a heap to go find my brother

Roman: "AIM FOR THE FACE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIX IT!!" i yell to deceit from my room, before picking up the cat once again to see his tired face.

To be honest i was exhausted as well so i took anxiety and put him in my bed before crawling in with the tiny creature myself. the cat looked confused but to tired to do anything and eventually we where both consumed by darkness.

ayeeeeeee i'm back with a new story! i couldn't choose between this and a superhero au but i decided on this royal cat au instead. soooo yeah i probably won't be posting as often as i used to because of school and such so yeah that's all.. till we meet again.
