He twirled me around as we both giggled. Then he cought me firmly in his arms, both of his hands landing on my waist.

"Where were we, princess?" he whispered leaning his forehead to mine. His bluish green eyes were so captivating I never wanted to stop looking at them.

But then I couldn't look at them anymore because they were slowly closing. And his face was centimeters away from mine. I could feel his breath on my lips and seconds later he captured my lips with his.

My first kiss.

And it was more magical than ever.

I was kissing the prince of my dreams, the most kindhearted man on earth. The most beautiful man on earth.

Prince Hero...

"Miss! Miss! MISS! WAKE UP!" I immeadiately jumped off the bed. "Your teacher is here. You slept in" Angela said and I groaned.

The dreams need to stop.

I looked at my pillow realizing it was full with my saliva.

Great!

...

Angela called me for dinner just when I finished my homework.

I ran downstairs to find almost everyone sat on the table. When everybody gathered and sat down we prayed and started eating.

They all started chatting about their days. I didn't talk. I never did. I had nothing in particular to say to them.

"Josephine! How was your day?" Mr Tiffin asked me. "Your teacher told me the best about you. You're picking up pretty quickly"

I smiled in response.

I felt someone kicking my leg from under the table and immediately spotted Mercy looking at me. She did a head movement motioning at my father but I shook my head.

She just sighed.

"Dad" She said and the whole table turned to look at her. "Josephine wants to ask you something" she said and the whole table turned to look at me.

"Yeah I- I just..." I stuttered.

Hero groaned. "Just fucking say it. I thought learning how to read comes with learning how to speak as well"

"No cursing at the table" his mom scolded him and he rolled his eyes.

I cleared my throat "I just wanted to..."

"Josephine wants to invite her friends over" Mercy said for me.

I heard a fork falling and then a hand slammed on the table.

"Fuck no" Hero said.

"That's a brilliant idea" his father answered instead with a grin.

"Are you serious?" Hero yelled at him. "You want to her to bring all these dirty people at our house? Are you really going to fall that low, dad? Unbelievable!"

"Josephine deserves to see her friends now and then. We brought her here to have a good life, not to keep her locked up at the house. And don't talk about people like that. They are just less fortunate than us not lower than us. Where are your manners, Hero?"

Hero looked at his father with his mouth agape. Then he looked at the rest of us expecting someone to stand up for him and agree with his paranoia. When nobody did he just shook his head, stood up and left.

"Hero come back right this second. I'm talking to you young man" his mother yelled at him but he didn't listen.

I lowered my head ashamed.
