(A/N. This book will be written in a third person perspective. I won't be changing from POV's to POV's.)
Last day, he though to himself. Last day and he would finally be free to follow his passion as a rally driver. Seven years of service to Raccoon Police Department has taken a toll on his mental health and he needed something else and seeing as he was great behind a wheel he knew he wanted to follow that way, he liked the thrill of turning into a sharp corner at 156 kilometers an hour knowing that a small mistake may cause him to have a crash. He did crash a few times, adrenaline blocking the voice of his passanger calling out the corners for him. It led to many visits to ER but he liked it. He knew that the odds he would die were as big as they were while he worked as a police officer but in return he was able to live again. He was able to translate his emotions into the flow of his car, whether it was cutting corner at neck breaking speeds or rolling on its sides after a miscalculation but it only made it so much better.
As he currently drove the forest road near Raccoon City with his Subaru Impreza 1998 he slid around, his livery specialy made for a rally race. But seeing as he got a contract with Subaru, he would get a new car. A prototype to test in the upcoming rally. They wanted him to promote their new concept car. His phone got him out of his thoughts as slowed down to a stop and read the message.
"Irons is waiting on you, let this be the last time you were late. - A. Weaker"
He shook his head and turned his car around. Well, he didn't do it like any other person would, he spun the car around, making donuts before going off in style and speed. The twin turbo's whizzled as he changed gears and after a bit he got off the dirt road and was now driving on asphalt to the Raccoon city. The sun over the horizon looked like it was just setting but his clock only reminded him that it was 9 AM. As he finally got into the city, he spotted a few pedestrians running on the streets, crying and screaming. They were trying to break into people's cars but officers were already dispatched and trying to get the situation on the control. As he was scanning the area, his doors came open and a person tried to rip him out of his car but seeing as he had a professional seat belt, it only held him in place and he got the chance to pull a gun out of his holster and aim at his attacker. Said man, now surrendering ran off to search for another victim as Y/n made his way to the police station.
He parked in the underground parking lot and made his way to the police department, greeting his fellow co-workers and declined any offers of donuts. As much as he liked sweets, he couldn't afford to gain weight. He made his way towards S.T.A.R.S. Bureau and knocked on the door. Nothing happened so he knocked again but like last time no response. Guessing they were either so busy or away he made his way to Chief Irons and hopefully still be able to make it for the Rookies late welcome. He was glad he was late because they were able to take of the extra L someone put and made us look like bunch of morons. Before he could even open the door, he was knocked out, a blunt weapon to the back of his neck.
Time skip
Leon made his way Throughout the Nest and was able to locate the sample he needed, his goal was to get it at any cost. He was however, put on guard as he heard someone knocking on a glass door. It was a man, he was bit on his lower abdomen and on his neck. He was missing half of his left hand and left smears of blood on the glass. He was crying as I made my way towards him, knocking down the barricade that kept him locked out. As soon as he got into the room, he put the barricade back on the door, finally spotting a couple of 'Them' making their way towards the door. Leon helped the mysterious man up only to notice a very familiar uniform alongside a RPD badge. He smiled as he finally got to another officer but his smile died down as he remembered what happened to the last officer after he was bitten.
