"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Clark muttered as he came and sat down beside Jason who was already sitting at the lunch table, watching the dispute that was happening a few tables away from them.
Jason frowned, "I don't know, but they just started arguing a few minutes ago. It seems like they're really mad at each other."
"You think?" Luke muttered, glancing over at the two, "It's like the whole gun thing again."
"They've been going at it for a while now." Jason informed Clark, shaking his head.
"I've had enough of your shit!" Valerie shouted, her eyebrows furrowed, "You always think I'm immature and can't make decisions for myself!"
"I wouldn't have to think like that if you didn't act that way!" Kyla snapped, glaring at Valerie. The two girls were standing face to face with each other while Miles, who sat next to Kyla, tried to calm the tension between the two.
Xavier was sitting beside Valerie, across from Kyla. He was watching the two with wide eyes.
"Stop treating me like a damn child," Valerie muttered lowly, her fists clenched tightly.
Kyla towered over her with a scary look in her eyes, "Then stop acting like one. This is why Charlotte never tells you anything."
"Who are you bullshitting? She tells me everything!"
Kyla raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure? How come you're not in the other group chat then?"
"Kyla!" Miles snapped, his eyes wide.
Valerie faltered for a second. "What?" She glanced at Miles who avoided her eye contact. Valerie snapped her head to Xavier, her face falling, but she realized that he seemed confused too.
"There's another group chat?" Xavier mumbled, looking up at Kyla who still stood face to face with Valerie.
"What?" Kyla glanced down at Miles with a carefree expression and looked back at Valerie who didn't seem so angry anymore, yet confused and conflicted.
"Did you really think you were what, Char's right hand woman?" Kyla let out a snort, "Please, don't make me laugh."
"That's enough, Ky," Miles muttered, his eyes trained on Valerie's clenched fist.
"No," Kyla crossed her arms, "I'm sick and tired of her acting like she knows everything when we both know she doesn't."
Valerie's jaw was clenched and her eyes were trained on the table. Xavier sat quietly, glancing between Kyla and Valerie.
"What? Now you have nothing to say?"
"Do you have to do this in public, Kyla?" Miles sighed, glancing around the cafeteria to see literally everyone watching them. Miles made eye contact with the Guard, who were watching them silently. Miles scratched his nose.
"No, continue what you were saying. Let everyone hear how much of a bitch you are," Valerie muttered, her eyes forming a glare.
"Excuse me?"
"You pretend like you're this nice girl who only wants the best for everyone but behind closed doors, you're a fucking asshole. I don't say anything because I don't want to ruin our friendship, but it looks like you don't care for our friendship at all."
"Oh, I'm the bitch?"
"And a fucking asshole, yeah,"
Miles gulped, "Guys, please stop. Char wouldn't like this—"
"Who gives a shit about what Char thinks?" Xavier spoke, his eyes sharp.
Miles whipped his head to Xavier with wide eyes. "Not you too—"
