Amongst the white stood a figure of obscurity: donning a cloak of black, Wayrren stood amid the falling snow. His crown kept warm by the whiter fur that laced within.

The crunching of someone new entered the scene. 'Twas Caelum.

"Ren!" He called out. "We have some hot chocolate over here!" Snickering, he scurried away around a corner of the castle. Ears perking, and stomach already warming at the thought, Wayrren took joyful steps in suit — he couldn't wait for such a treat. Though rounding the corner proved to be... suspicious. There was no Caelum in sight, no tracks, no nothing. Instead, a single mound of snow held a single, warm cup of that delicious sweet. Resting atop that was a single crimson bow, neatly tied, barring a brand of a gift.

Stepping ever closer — with eyes which shifted in every direction — his hesitant hand reached for it. Ceasing, his eyes rose to see incoming fire: snowballs. Phasing through the mound, he turned his back and held out his arms. Shielding the drink, he shouted.

"Not the chocolate!" He pleaded. Seeing no difference, he outstretched his palm and held them in the air; frozen. With his other, the thicker blanket of fresh fallen snow lifted to the sky.

"How dare you!" With a fist he plunged a canon's worth of snow into his attackers.

All said and done, the brawny Caelum stood with a shorter Pablo. They were nothing more than mounds themselves.

Cupping both hands, they warmed against his drink as Wayrren moseyed over to the defeated duo. Dabbing a kiss across the frigid cheek, he thanked Caelum for the gift.

"I'll see you around." He flashed a swift smile.
