"Thalia, the car's ready" a baritone voice said outside my rooms door "I'll be outside" I replied and I already his steps walking away
I stared at my full body reflection.I already took my barrette hat and wore it carefully. As I finished dressing up,I already took my bag and left my room. "Good morning,Miss Thalia" Maids and my parents guards greeted me as usual and I would only nod at them as a reply. "Your Mom wants you to know that after your classes, you'll have your dinner with them" Vaughn,my personal guard and driver said as he opened the car's door for me.I glanced at him and I noticed that he already know what my answer would be
"I never thought that I still have my parents, let's go Kuya Vaughn" He sighed and nodded with what I have said. "I told you not to call me Kuya, your parents might hear you"
"And what do you want me to do?Disrespect you?"
I already diverted my attention outside the window as we entered our university's gate
"Do you have it with you?" he suddenly asked and I cant help but to sigh "I don't need it" I bluntly lied which made him glanced at my direction "Thalia, you'll never know when you'll need it." he reached for the compartment in front of me but I stopped him "Stop it.I want to be a damn normal student" carelessly opened the door,I left him inside the car without a word
I would always blame my parents about this.Passing and surviving my day with our damn body guards and maids. Not knowing when danger will come to our lives. That's the great disadvantage of having both of your parents having part in the politics.Florence Austria, the Mayor of our city and Tovar Austria, one of the congressmen in our region.
As I was placing my hands inside my coat's pocket I saw someone wearing all black, walking behind the college buildings. My forehead creased due to what I saw.I continued walking towards our building and just as always, bunch of students are waiting in front of the elevator.Yes I'm from a family with a great amount of money and fame but I never wanted to take advantage of it
Fuck privileges,I want to live my life normally.
I would always prefer to use the stairs even though my classroom would be found at fifth floor. As I arrived at our floor,I already made my way in the hallway and immediately entered our classroom.Directly walked towards my seat with my head held high I noticed that some of my classmates still gives a damn about me.Thankfully, some are not paying attention.
Being known by people around me because of my own hard work and passion is a nice thing but gaining attention just because of your family status?I wont ever be thankful of it.
"Then why the hell did you attend our class for today?!" one of my classmate yelled from behind "I told you I'm fine,I have my inhaler so don't worry" the girl with an asthma said. "Stop making a damn scene in this classroom.Instead of spewing sugar coated words why don't you just bring her to the infirmary?" a cold voice stated as he entered our room "Good morning class"
It was our professor,I smirked to what he have said. He's right, instead of having drama's showing fake concerns why didn't they just brought her to the infirmary.Bunch of fools
"Jade, you can now go to infirmary" he said as he placed his things at the table "Thank you Sir,but I'm fine"
The girl with an asthma replied and that's when our prof started discussing.I was taking notes at my scratch notebook when the speakers inside our room made an annoying sound.I glanced in it and noticed that our professor was talking to someone in his phone, wearing a worried and shock expression
