Sophia’s Prov

      I was walking through the forest thinking how lucky I am. All my life was filled with hardship and suffering, getting bullied and picked on until I got adopted by the Asakura family. They’re so nice to me. They treat me like I’m one of their own. They never keep anything from me. I just wish that I could be the same way to them. It’s not that I’m disrespectful to them. No, I would never. It’s just that I’m untruthful towards them.

      I have this secret inside of me that I vowed to keep in me the rest of my life. I am what is known as the ‘’Uchū no megami. It means Goddess of the Universe. I am the ruler of the entire universe including the Feudal Era and the Human World which is five hundreds of years (500) in the future of the Feudal Era. My mother was the one who created the Bone Eater’s Well. She made it so I could have been sent into the future. I was six (6) years old when I discovered I could travel through time. This was a year after I got adopted.

       I was sitting on a bench at the play park when Yoh came to me saying he was going to get ice-cream for both of us. He ran away before I could have said anything. “WAIT!!!!” I shouted at the top of my voice. Then everything around me stopped. Yoh freeze as he was running, the birds in the sky stopped moving; everything I mean everything just stopped. I got up slowly, afraid and trembling and went next to him.

      Y-Yoh? A-are you alright? I then moved in front of him, waving my hands in front of him like I was crazy. When I clicked my fingers, everything started moving again. Yoh then ran right in front on me. “Sophia, what are you doing here? Didn’t I leave you at the bench?”

      Ya, but I just wanted to tell you that I can’t have chocolate ice-cream. Dad banned me from having it. Plus my throat is sored so I can’t have anything too sweet. So buy me ammmm VANILIA! I shouted the last part. “Okay, just go and sit on the bench would ya? I better go before the ice-cream man goes away.” I started to walk back slowly. What just happen? I kept on asking myself. Later on that day I went home I took a shower, had my supper and mom read me a bed-time story so I could have gone to sleep. She kissed me on the forehead and turned out the lights.

      Sophia darling, wake-up. Someone barely whispered in my ears. “Mommmmm, goooo awayyyyy!” I shouted but not hard. I barely had closed my eyes. “Let me get some shut eyes.” Hmmm, so you don’t wanna know how you stopped everything back at the play-ground huh? I jumped up immediately and switched on the bed side lamp. What!?!? Huh, you’re not my mommy. There was this beautiful woman in front of me. She had long black hair and wore a red and black kimono. It looked something kinda liked the ones ancient Japanese warriors wore in battle. She was beautiful, no not beautiful just indescribably magnificent.

      I am your mother sweetheart, you might not know me but I am. No! I was adopted! These kind and considerately people gave me a place call home and people to call my family! And even if you are my mother, I don’t wanna see you! I shouted loud while crying, but not loud enough to wake any one up. She pulled me into a tight hug; one that I couldn’t resisted. Shhhhh! don’t cry my little princess. I’m sorry I wasn’t with you all these years, but I intend to make up for all the times I missed.

     W-why did you go away from me? I asked in my small and timid voice. Oh sweetie, there’s time to tell you all that. But for now, let me tell you about who you really are. After that day, my life changed for the better. Every night since then I meet her. She trained me, tell me about my family history and made me feel loved. Not that I’m not loved by the Asakura’s but ya know, a way no one can make you feel except your mother. I guess I’m just lucky chance.

       Oh I forgot to tell you. Yoh is my step-brother. But we love each other like blood. He is two years older than me. One day I overheard the gardener talking to one of our maids saying Yoh likes me. Nahhh, I lied. HE LOVED ME! What a bummer? Ever since then I have had a crush on him. I don’t show it by fan-girling or anything but I Love My Freaking Brother! Let’s forget about that. I don’t want you getting into my personal business.

Now where was I? Oh yes, I was telling you that I was walking through the forest. Ye go no further! I looked up and some persons surrounding me. There was an old lady that looked like a priestess who wore a red and white kimono. She had an eye-patched and held a bow and arrow. I didn’t know eye-patch exist in this time. Who knows what else I’ll see?

 Don’t worry Ma’am. I was just wandering the forest without knowing that I ended up in a village. I didn’t mean to intrude ya village. Lady Kieda, this girl speaks just like Lady Kagome. Do you think she is from the same land? Ye may be right, ye may be wrong. Follow me child. I didn’t want a problem so I just shut my trap and followed her quietly.

 I followed her to this little hut in the middle of the village. There was a little demon fox sitting next to the fire. Lady Kieda, did you catch the intruder? No Shippo, it wasn’t an intruder, just this lost girl. Hello there, I said kindly to the kid as I sat next to him. Hi. My name’s Shi – huh? You look just like Kagome! Why do they keep saying I look like this Kagome? Who the hell is she? I don’t mean in face but by your clothes.

Your mean there’s someone else that has clothes like these? Ya, her name’s Kagome. Kagome huh, can I meet her? She’s not here right now. She’s out with the guys. He then started to tell me about a half-demon named Inuyasha and a demon cat named Kirara. A monk named Miruko and a demon slayer named Sango. He also told me about their likes and dislikes plus he warned me about Miruko. He has a ‘sticky hand’ for women’s butt. ‘Pervert,’ he mumbled. I giggled at what a cute kid he is.

We’re back!!!!! I heard a young and cheerful voice shouted. When I stand up, I wasn’t racing the door. So when I turned around, my mouth dropped to the floor. Her own too. YOUUU!!!!! We both shouted.
