It's all around me. War, death, and people who harbor it. These are perilous times in our once great city of magic. The only people who have been able to survive this crisis are the nobles, like my father. He's one of the emperors chief consultants, so we have a pretty stable income, unlike some of the others. My dad is hopeful that I'll someday take his place on the council, but sorry dad, NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. I needed to get out of this dying city, see the rest of the world, but that will never happen of this war doesn't end. Let me back up and put things into perspective for you.
