(Steam/implied sexy times in this one-shot!)

You and Sandor had a pretty decent dynamic going on when it came to interrogations and questioning suspects. The two of you had the good cop/bad cop routine down pat, with you playing "good cop" most of the time. It helped that the two of you were seeing each other outside of work. Not that anyone in the precinct knew that. Granted, that said more about the others' lack of observational skills rather than your and Sandor's secrecy. You weren't exactly subtle about it.

Now, for example. The two of you were in the interrogation room with a suspect. Sandor was pulling his usual threatening routine. That was easy for him considering how scary he looked. You could see the suspect becoming defensive, so you knew it was your turn. You gently squeezed Sandor's shoulder as you eyed the man you were questioning. You took your time dragging your hand down Sandor's back when you sat down next to him.

"Calm down, Clegane. Sorry about him. These kind of cases always get to him," you said, keeping your hand on Sandor. After a moment, you moved it to his leg and gave a little squeeze. Sandor didn't say anything, but the tensing of his muscle under your hand told you he acknowledged what you were doing. You were playing with fire right then. Still, your hand stayed there as you continued to try and play nice with your suspect.

You somehow managed to keep your cool when you felt Sandor's own giant hand reach over to your thigh. You fought hard not to jump. This was a dangerous game the two of you had going on. Right in the middle of the precinct, in front of a suspect. Sandor's light touches were driving you insane, but you managed to keep a straight face.

"Look, I've told you everything I know. Can I go now?" the suspect asked. "Of course. Thank you for your help. If you think of anything else, give us a call and...don't leave town, okay?" you said with a smile. Sandor's hand dragged along your leg as you stood up again. The suspect glanced at Sandor, who kept his menacing glare on his face the whole time.

"Sure. Maybe we could talk again...without your partner," he said with a cheeky smirk. Sandor was on his feet in an instant. It took everything in you to hold him back. "I don't think Clegane likes that idea very much, but thanks for the offer. Thank you for your time. Have a nice day." The suspect practically ran from the room in order to get away from your lover.

As soon as he was out of sight, you turned to Sandor with a smug smile. "Is that jealousy I detect?" you asked. The towering man glared down at you before crashing his lips to yours, though the kiss didn't last long. Without saying a word, Sandor pushed passed you. You followed after him. He wasn't really mad. You knew that. At least, not at you. But he was definitely the jealous type when it came to you and you knew exactly where this was going. He grabbed your hand, engulfing it with his larger one. "Going to lunch," Sandor growled as he marched passed the captain's office dragging you behind him.

Sandor was quiet the entire drive to your apartment. It was the closest place to the precinct where you knew you wouldn't be caught in a compromising position. You could feel the emotion and passion radiating off him. His hand never left yours as he drove. "You gotta stop teasing me at work, Y/N," he finally said. You grinned. "You love it. And you give as good as you get."

"If we're caught, they'll send one of us to another precinct. I can't protect you if we're not together anymore." Your smile softened. He was worried about you. You didn't reply until Sandor parked the car. He turned to you to continue his speech, but you cut him off with your lips. As always, he responded eagerly. His lips were hunger against yours.

With lungs screaming for air, you parted after a few moments. "Upstairs?" you asked breathlessly. Sandor barely nodded before he was out of the car. You followed swiftly, tossing him the key. The walk up to your apartment seemed eternal, but Sandor's hand gripping yours kept you grounded in reality. You were certain your neighbors would appreciate if you waited until you got into your apartment instead of stopping in the stairwell.

When you finally made it inside, the door had hardly closed when you found your back pressed up against it. Sandor looked down at you, his eyes filled with lust and passion, but also a gentle tenderness that was reserved only for you. The atmosphere that was charged with something primal suddenly shifted to something much more romantic. "I love you," you whispered. You pulled him down to meet your lips again. No more words were spoken as clothing was shed.

A little while later, you laid wrapped around each other, panting and covered in sweat. "I think we're late again," you said, making Sandor chuckle. "Probably. They'll get over it." You snuggled closer to him. This was your favorite part of your relationship. Who would have thought that the giant of a man next to you would be such a cuddler? "I love you too, you know," he rasped out quietly. You smiled. "I know."

Your phone ringing broke the serenity of the moment, making you both groan. You rolled over and grabbed the offending device. "The captain." You put your phone on speaker and were greeted with Tyrion's voice. "Y/L/N, I need you and Clegane to get dressed and return immediately. You're late...again." You cleared your throat and said, "Of course. Wait, what do you mean get dressed?!" you asked, panicked. Tyrion laughed. "Relax, Y/N. I've known for a while. No one is late coming back from lunch as often as the two of you. I think everyone knows. In fact, you just won a bet for me. Now seriously, get dressed and get back here on the double."

The line clicked, signaling the end of the call. You glanced up at Sandor. For a moment, the two of you simple stared at each other. Then, you both began laughing. Of course they had known. Tyrion was captain for a reason after all. "Guess they need their good cop back," Sandor said when you finally stopped laughing. You leaned over and kissed him again. "I'm nothing without my bad cop." A few more kisses were exchanged before you shared another look. Looked like you were going to be even more late.
