Remington Leith

The door to my house opened signaling the return of my boyfriend Remington. I turned off the TV and sat up. "Hey I need to talk to you" I said.

"Yeah so do I" He responded adding a quick smile at the end.

"Ok you can go first"  Rem was just sitting there staring at me. It was making me feel like I was being interrogated. When Remington finally spoke up I wasn't expecting what came out.

"I think we should break up" Remington says

"Oh-" was all I could say. I started to cry because he left without giving me a chance to fight. What was I supposed to do... I'm pregnant.

*A little bit of timey wimey jumps*

(Emerson's P.O.V) *What a surprise*

I was walking around and saw something that surprised me a lot. Y/N. Remington's ex sitting on a bench next to a small child. She looked about two years old. I decided to walk over to her. "Hey Y/N you babysitting" I ask knowing she has siblings.

"Um no... can you keep this a secret?" She says

"Yeah for sure" I answer

"This is Veronica, she's your niece," She pauses for a second before continuing, " You also have a nephew. Her twin, his name is Kol."

"This is Rem's kid" I ask surprised. 

She just nods." Yeah they will be two and a half next week"

If I am correct she would have been about a month pregnant when they broke up.

"My mom has Kol but if you want to, you can come over tomorrow and spend more time with them, " She says getting up to leave ," I still live in the same place."

*A month later* (Your P.O.V)

Emerson's  been coming over almost everyday to see the kids. He said he was coming back over today. There was a knock at the door pulling me out of my thoughts. "Come on in Em" I say.

As he walks in the house the kids yell" Uncle Em". He still never seems to get over how well they can speak.

"Hey Y/N, Seb keeps asking where I go everyday and if I don't tell him, eventually, he will follow me here."

"I don't care if you bring him here. He deserves to know too." I said

(Emerson's P.O.V)

I was finally getting to tell someone else. I just still wasn't allowed to tell Rem but at lease Seb will know. As I walked into the house Seb once again asked where I had been. " I will take you with me tomorrow but you must promise not to tell anyone what you see." I said

"Ok," Seb answers, "I promise."

*The next day*

"Why are we at y/n's" Seb asked.

"This is where I have been going for the past month. Lets go inside."

Y/n was finally finishing catching up Seb. He sat in silence for a moment before looking at Veronica and Kol. He slowly says " I have a niece and  a nephew."

"Yeah you do, we do" I said. After a few hours we went home, but as soon as we got there er realized it would be even harder to hide from Rem.

* A few months later*

The kids are turning 3 in a month and Seb and I had gone out to get them gifts. Yet when we got home Remington started yelling about how we are always out sneaking around behind his back.

"Well sorry  I just want to see my niece and nephew" I said.

"What are you on? You don't have a niece or nephew" Remington yelled.

"Yes we do" Seb said back to him calmly looking really annoyed.

"How do you two have a niece or nephew if no one has kids?" Rem asked.

"Because someone does have kids dumbass, you" I said

He looked at me calmly for a second before taking a deep breath and responding " Ok, ok I'll play along, what are these kids of mine named"

"Veronica and Kol" I state blankly

"Well how old are they"

"Almost 3" Seb replied.

Remington sat there thinking for a minute. Almost like he was trying to do the math and figure it out. " I don't know, just tell me wh- Oh my god wait... Y/n?"

"Yeah you guessed it" I said sarcastically

"How long have you known I had kids" Rem asked.

"Me 4 months, Em has known about 5 1/2 months" Sebastian answered. I just said we were ending the conversation and walked away.

(Your P.O.V)

"I'm sorry it just slipped out" Emerson said

"It's ok I'm not mad. I'm actually surprised you didn't tell him sooner" I answered. We kept talking for a few hours just meaningless stuff like the birthday party for the kids and how I started back at college to update my degree. The boys are getting ready to leave and I said "Emerson don't tell Remington I said this but he can come see them... don't bring it up. If he asks himself bring him over, but ya know... warn me first."

He just nodded and left to meet Seb out in the car.

(Emerson's P.O.V) *Time skip (sorry about all of them)

Its been about 2 weeks since Rem found out and he finally wants to talk about it. I told him basically everything I knew about the kids including their birthday which was quickly approaching, how their names are spelt and any nicknames they had. Then the question came that I knew would eventually.

"Do you think I could go see them?" Rem asks

"Yes," I say already knowing the answer but quickly adding ," but let me ask first."

"I text Y/n to let her know that he had asked and which day would be good for him to come over. She said any day next week.

 I looked up at Remington and said " She says you can come meet them next week." He just nodded. Both of us knowing how awkward this would be.
