I saw Sarah standing by the movie theatre , waiting for him . I wanted to yell Sarah to see her expression when she saw that it was me , when she would instantly recognize my voice. Like as if we were bonded by some red string of fate. Maybe im just perceving we were ever real. Heh typical her man he's still not present , I know he's more atractive and popular than me but...Suddenly she turned toward my direction , swiftly I turned my head to seem as if I were reading the movie choices outside the theatre . " Drake?" she called out to me. Oh why must you torture my heart , I thought as I turned towards her and forced a smile . Sarah was already next to me , strangely at a short distance though. "what movie are you going to see?" Sarah asked curiously and densely . Like we never had nothing .
"uh well I really have'nt decided.yet" I replied while stratching the back of my neck trying not to look tense or sound awkward.
Instantly her cell beeped from a text . When she read it her expression went from cheerful to a gloomy abadoned look. She looked at me , her bright dark green eyes filling with a tear or two . "well im going to go home now , I geuss since my date just said he cant make it...again" Sarah said in a quiver of a voice , trying not to cry .
I sighed knewing im going to regret what im about to do . "Sarah remember that movie we saw on one of our dates the first one? They now have a sequel , wanna see it together? As friends of course" I asked hoping this corny comedy flick you love would cheer you up . Sarah smiled and said sure and we walked in together .
I bought our tickets and pretended to forget what your favorite candy was when we went to get our snacks .
