A good thought-out plan might work, but only if it does work according to the observations... Well, at least someone knew what's going on.
"Ow..."
The Specials were still into their trip to find the villain that attacked their hometown again, and while discussing things out, something unexpectedly happened.
A minifig suddenly landed down after being airborne for a few minutes, right after the "missile punch" Rex had made, which turned the entire pub into LEGO bricks with the other drunks and Pete being toppled over by its powerful force.
The minifigure, who was recognized as the guy with the black skin and dreadlocks, had been heard and found crashed onto the hood of the double-decker car that Emmet had made.
When they saw him crash into it, they only turned around with surprise and bafflement.
What the...? Wyldstyle thought as she stared at the drunk they'd encountered earlier. How did that even got here...?
"That guy looks hurt," Unikitty told them while standing and looking at the guy at the same time. "How awful..."
"Yeah, duh, I don't wanna disagree y'all, but that's the same guy we've met," Batman commented. "I mean, he insulted us before."
"Are you really...?" Benny tried to answer.
The Specials went to discuss things about the stranger who'd just crashed into their car.
It wasn't long until the minifigure managed himself to get up from where he fell and start to run, but was stopped suddenly when they blocked his way every time he tried.
"Stop this, please?" the minifigure pleaded as he found out that they did so for a reason. "I wanna go home!"
"Not until we ask you first," Wyldstyle refused in a reassuring but serious voice.
The stranger, knowing that the Specials had surrounded him and are coming closer and closer, felt fear, nervousness, and danger combined inside him, that is, until he had enough.
"Alright! Alright, okay!" he cried like so. "I'll help you, only if you let me go!"
They, upon hearing what he'd said, exchanged glances and nodded between themselves while taking a step back, but still kept the circle intact to avoid him running away like a chicken.
"Okay, you ugly-looking stranger," Batman went on as he went closer and pointed his claw-hand towards the minifigure's face. "Tell us where Lord Business's new lair is."
The stranger said nothing, as if he didn't understand what he's talking about.
Wyldstyle sighed at first on what Batman had just did, but when insisted, she went over to the stranger, facing each other, inches apart.
"So, tell us, mister," she asked him, "do you manage, or not seem to manage, saw a bunch of black cube-shaped floating robots heading somewhere with some stuff with them?"
"Oh no, please, no!" the stranger cried again, as if he knew what they meant. "Don't tell me you are going to destroy my village, too!"
"What?" Emmet jumped in, answering his reply. "We don't want to destroy anything. All we want is to know where did those robots go."
"That's what we've been doing right now," Batman added. "Can you recall what happened? I'll like to place your story-"
"...nowhere else," Wyldstyle interrupted him, covering his mouth with her hand. "Your secret is safe with us."
"Yeah, we won't tell anyone, promise," Unikitty finished.
The stranger looked at them for a while, then sighed as he started telling them his story.
