Harianna's pov-
I rubbed my temples, my head is killing me, and honestly, at this point I just need to hear that final bell ring. It's been a long day, a really long day; and it's not over yet, I still have to walk to my baby brothers school, and then to his first practice of the season. Mom is unhappy because he has a new coach this year, I mean, she apparently, 'loved the last one' and I did too. He was a sweet guy, late 50's, passed away of cancer late last year. It really is sad, I miss him a lot, but I just need this day to be over with.
Finally the bell rings, thank The Lord, I walk to my locker as fast as I can. My curls falling out of their unruly bun, my attempt of keeping them contained, it's just one of those days. Barely any makeup, my curly hair being uncooperative as always, and as for clothes? Well, black leggings, and an oversized sweatshirt, along with my trusty, beat-up black boots? Yeah, those'll do just fine. I grab my books, mentally noting the homework I have to do, and head out, straight to my brothers school. Four blocks down, three to the left, finally, I arrive and he comes running to me, hugging me, and he takes my hand in his little one. He's only six, Mum remarried after my 'dad' left us when I was younger. Resulting in a wonderful new step father and my sweet baby brother Leonardo, we call him Leo for short though he's going on about his day, talking too much, and when we arrive at the soccer field he drops his backpack at my feet, and takes off running. I laugh, a bit annoyed with his energy, but pick it up, and settle on the bleachers lining the sides.
That's when I see her, she's got tattoos all over, and a beanie, her t-shirt has no sleeves, and a sports bra peeks out from underneath at me. She's wearing vans, and athletic pants that only go halfway to her calves. And wow.. I never would ever expect to be wowed by a girl, much less.. This kind of girl, but she's beautiful. She catches me looking at her, and I turn away, blushing. Her eyes were beautiful too, what's going on with me!?
No, Harianna, this is not okay. Not okay at all, you don't like girls, you just like her tattoos. And that's what I tell myself. I like her tattoos.

Elouise pov-
I arrive at my first day as the new coach, they hired me even though I was young and they say it's because they had nobody else, but I know for myself it's because I'm an amazing player. People usually don't want to say it, I'm a girl. A gay girl, why would anyone admit me actually being good at something? But I am. And they know it.
I park my car, and grab my keys, walking onto the field, when I feel someone looking at me as I turn, I meet eyes, with a pretty girl. Not my type, but she's pretty, but as she turns away, she's blushing. And damn, was that adorable.
I finish up the practice, and I notice her packing up her books, chatting with a few of the parents waiting I gradually make my way to her, and as I do, she pulls her backpack up onto her shoulder, grabbing a much less intimidating one with Captain America plastered on the front, must be her brothers, I smile to myself.
"Hello, I'm Lou, well, Elouise, but you can call me Lou," I cringe at my stuttering, "I'm the new coach, obviously, I was going to see if I could get your number.." I see her blush again, "you know, to send you the schedule." And I smirk, smart move Lou. "Oh yes, of course." She says, almost seeming taken my surprise. I hand her my phone, and she types it in, "thanks so much." I say smiling and offering out a 'friendly' hand, "of course." She smiles back, before sliding hers into mine for a light shake.
Whoa.
Was that supposed to happen? Cliche? Maybe. But I swear, electricity just surged through my body.. What is this, and why is it happening?

{Author's Note}
