I'm so excited... and I just can't hide it!
Cassidy was actually playing with other people.
She was shocked too, But she knew it wasn't going to last too long.

The meeting with that woman, 'Brooke' had gone amazing and Brooke said she wanted to adopt CASSIDY!
She.Wanted.CASSIDY!

The girls stopped jumping up and down on the beds with the music and stared at Cassidy in wonder.
"Hey, Why'd you stop dancin?" They asked in a Texas accent.
Cassidy turned and realised she had stopped dancing and just stood there like a log.

"Oh, Sorry, it's just I have stuff on my mind..." Cassidy cursed herself because she knew people don't like her and don't want to hear her thoughts either.
They just laughed and continued to jump up and down on the bed
Interrupting the two, loud footsteps and shouts were heard in the hallway.
"CASSIDY! ITS TIME TO LEAVE." The footsteps came closer and soon enough the door slammed open.
Cassidy stood, flustered.
"Wh-what?! Already?.." before she could be answered , MaryAnne screeched "GET READY AND GO DOWNSTAIRS!"

MaryAnnes footsteps stormed past Cassidy, her hair blowing in her face.
The door slammed shut.
Cassidy turned around,

"Listen, I gotta go, it was cool hanging out with you"
She grabbed her Nintendo switch and raced out of the room.

Cassidys POV

I headed for my small cupboard, grabbing the small kids bag and toothbrush purse.
I snatched everything from the drawers, and everything from the shelf above.
I cleared the entire room in a matter of minutes.
Checking the clock, I happy skipped out the door, saying my goodbyes to the horrid place.
I faintly heard footsteps and voices echoing from the front desk downstairs.
As I approached the office closer and closer, Brooke's voice became louder.

I turned, taking a last look at the horrid place.
The dusted red chairs , rusty nails hanging from ceilings , wooden planks set against the stairs like a pile of dirt.
I felt sudden taps on my shoulder, turning around worried, I gasped.
Brooke stood there with 4 kids behind her.
One boy stood shyly with a blonde mol of hair and shorts matched with a green shirt.
The rest were girls, One with blonde hair and a banana jumpsuit, one that was shorter than the others with a fully red outfit and the last girl stood tall with a poofy white dress and a pink bow.

I quivered and stepped back. She has other kids?

Brooke bent down and faced me.
"Listen, I know you didn't know about the kids, but they've been dying to meet you." I nodded and eased a little.
The tall girl, now known to me as Sabre, stood forward.
"Hi, I like your outfit. I love your skirt!" I smiled and shyly blushed, never been given a compliment.
"Th-thanks..."

She nodded, smiling.

"No Problem!"
