The "Blessing"

Chapter 1

" Hey kiddo how are you?"

"Good dad"

"Well can you at least sit down and eat breakfast?"

"Dad I can't. I have to get to schools."

Kiro is a girl that was as she calls it cursed with the power to see and speak to ghosts. she got this power from being put into a near death experience when her dad had gotten killed by a group of people when they forgot to pay their bills. This is going to be alot easier to explain by going back to the day this happened.

January 12, 2015

This day started out as a normal day. I got out of bed and got my little sibling ready for school and then walked them down to the bus stop. Then I got ready for school and walked to my bus stop. At school I'm in the 9th grade so that means I'm a highschooler. My classes put me ahead of most of the grade. It goes Advanced English, Choir, Computer Applications, Physical Science, Homeroom, Geography, Math, and then Gym/Health. But then when I got home that day my house had cops in front of it with an ambulance and CPS holding my siblings. I ran to the cops he looked down at me and asked,

 " Are you Kiro Sama?"

I answered yes and he kneeled down and looked at me with a sad look in his eyes. At that moment I knew that Mom was hurt by Dad. See my Dad has always been abusive to my Mom and us. But this was bad. They told me that Dad had shot my Mom when she tried to leave. She was going to leave because she didn't want to live with an abusive d*ck and she was worried for the safety of us. Mom had stabbed him when he tried to strike her. Mom was killed by the gun shot and dad went to jail for homicide in the first degree. That day we were sent to families

 January 25,2015

This day we were split apart. But they made me choose one of my siblings to take with me to my new family, the other was killed. I know it was harsh but that's the way this world works according to CPS. I had to pick one or they were both killed. I chose my sister because the family that we were going to was full of girls. The looked at me and asked me if this is my final decision. As they got ready to shoot I screamed and begged them to stop. I said he was just a kid and that they could take my life instead.They stopped, looked at me and then said ok. As they got ready to shoot me in the head they stopped and shot me in the lung. I could feel my lung starting to collapse and after that, well I couldn't remember anything after that. But what I can tell you what is next is strange and scary. But we'll come back to that subject in a minute. There is something greater to discuss before we get to that. If you can't handle blood guts and gore you shouldn't read this next part. When I was out cold with a collapsing lung I was in a place called purgatory. At least that's what this voice said. Then there was a big flash of light and I was at a desk. There was a man sitting at the desk and the sign above him read now serving 10,385,962. The man turned around in his chair and said,

" Name?"

"What?''

"What is your name?"

" Oh, my name is Kiro, Kiro Sama."

"Ok, and how old are you?"

" Oh, I'm 15 years old."

"Oh my, you shouldn't be here."

"Well can you send me back?"

"Yeah just let me hit this ..."

"Hit this what?"

"Wait your from Jutin, right?"

" Yeah, why?"

" Well, according to our database there is no medium there so were going to make you the medium of that town ok?"

"Wait I'll except if you tell me what it is."

" Well, a medium, in a short version, is a person who is given a gift of being able to see spirits and help them cross over to purgatory and then we take over from there."

"OK, but does this mean I can also see demons?"

"Yeah, but it's a rare chance that'll happen so I wouldn't worry about it that much."

"Ok, beam me up."

" What?"

" Well doesn't a beam come down and send me back to earth?'

'" No."

"Well then what happens?"

"This."

Just the the man hit a button and she woke up in the hospital.As she sat there waiting for someone to come in she had seen something. Something big and strangely like a shadow. She got up out of bed and then started walking down the hallway. She saw the figure of the creature for a split second. It was just a little girl. At least that's what she saw. This particular little girl was a girl that looked like her sister. As she stared the little girl ran towards her shouting sissy sissy. At that moment she turned around to see her real sister. Kiro tried to run at her and hug her but when she got to her she disappeared. Then she saw her brother and the same thing happened. At this moment she knew what happened. The men that shot her in the lung had also shot her little brother and sister. Now they were on earth for a long time, or so that's what Kiro thought. She looked at her siblings spirits and said,

"I will get you home one way or another."
