"I love the idea of causing some trouble at this feast, my sweet." Loki admitted with a wide grin.
It has been quite a while after Kitri had last escaped him, but luck seemed to be on his side this time.
Loki had finally caught up to her, trapping her against one of the beautiful pink and purple leaved trees of of Alfheim, and announcing to her that he had seen through her disguise.
It was something about the way she looked at him... Even while she was using illusions to hide herself, it still gave her away to him. Like a small spark of sorts in her gaze. Her touch was even more intoxicating, his skin almost seeming to send small electric tingles when he was close to touching her.
Yet he was not about to tell her how he knew, due to fear of losing that advantage. No matter who he cleverly disguised himself as, it seemed it only took a matter of time for her to figure it out, and he would see a noticeable change in her behaviour and knowing gaze when she did.
The first few dozen years have been easy due to his powers.
He could still drag out snippets of her thoughts through the static, and that soft silence itself became more obvious with time before she caught on to his suspicion.
Most people have passive thoughts running through their minds, along with reactions to outside events that are much harder to suppress. This was how he caught her over the later years. When he had his suspicions he would say or think something absurd, and no matter how hard she tried, he would at least hear a murmur of an amused response as an unwanted mental knee-jerk from her being aware of it.
But she had definitely improved.
If his main talent was cleverness and manipulation, her skill was surely in adaptation. Every time they crossed paths her thoughts were fainter and fainter. She even managed to fake outsider thoughts into her mind to keep him from catching on to the silence she forced into her head.
Something about this occurrence was different though. Maybe too much time has passed since their last encounter, or she had lost too many people she cared for to Hel's, Freyja's, or Odin's grasp as time passed. When he made his decision to corner her this time, she gave up almost instantly, wrapping her slender arms around his neck and pulling him closer into a desperate kiss.
He confronted her with a light whisper of her name in a light questioning tone, and for once instead of faking confusion as she had always tried to do previously, the long eared glowing white elf pulled him in to kiss her. She slowly transformed into her usual crimson haired self as his lips pressed against hers, and his movements gained confidence as he felt the familiar curves of her body against his.
He took her against that tree, harshly pulling up her elven skirts and pressing himself into her over and over as she moaned and trembled underneath him.
"So you are not opposed to fooling Thor into taking that mead cauldron from Jötunheimr?" Kitri asked with a smirk while gently tracing his jawline. "I could potentially make some powerful brews if it lived in Asgard."
Loki sighed, not entirely surprised that she returned to having some interest in brewing elixirs, but mostly pleased to be holding her after all this time. "I am certain Asgard will benefit from it, as well as Thor's beloved Midgard... Surely our favorite muscle bound giant slayer will not mind some trickery if he believes it is for a noble purpose." He chuckled as he pulled her closer against him, Kitri nuzzling into his neck.
During her time there she managed to trick the elites into becoming one of the highest advisors to the queen of this realm, and they had been wasting some time laying in the soft light blue grass of this realm she had been hiding on. The sharply pointed crystal structures of the largest buildings were a few miles away, but were large enough to feel like they were not very far from the city in the slightest.
