I shuffled through the now empty house. No bed. No couch. No light. We (me, my older sister, and my mother) were moving again. I know why every time we move it's because of my mothers work. I feel like I want to move every time, I mean having a new identity every year could be fun right? Common problems for a elementary school kid, bullying, bringing the wrong lunch, and worst of all...being the class nerd. Everyone has a class nerd, I'm talking about the shy unknown kind of people usually put in the back of the class. Well, I was one of those. This year we are moving to a big gated neighborhood called the Hawthorns. I look outside to the place I will be living in for the next school year. I see the leaves falling on the brown crunchy grass and a stray black cat hiding underneath a rusty car. We pull up to a street named Sunshine ave. As I read the sign I had hope but, once we rounded the corner it blew away just like the litter. To disintegrate into a land field with all of my dreams.
