Prelude:
My mother was what you called a free spirit. She wanted to see everything and do everything. Nothing could keep her in one place for long. Not even my dad tie her down. She met him when she went to watch the Northern Lights in Alaska with her group of wanderers. Love was the one thing mom had yet to experience, and dad was more then happy to share that experience with her and under those wispy green lights, they fell in love. The love they shared was as wild as moms spirit. Dad upped and left everything he's ever known for my mom. They moved city to city, state to state, country to country. They did it wall and saw it all happily in each others arms. When mon got pregnant, she wanted to have a simple, cozy pregnancy and decided to make her self a nest. So, they move to Florida. Dad said saw wanted to be there because of her love for Oranges, and that was enough for my dad. None months later they were blessed with a healthy baby girl. They decided to name me Rosalind Belle Tucker. We were a perfectly happy family, the kind you read about in fairy tales. But nothing ever stays perfect forever. That wouldn't be fair. Mom was a victim to a Florida panther. We don't know why she was in the everglades by herself, or how she got attacked. The rescue unit brought her in, she was unstable and in chronicle condition. There was nothing the doctors could do. Mom was against drugs, she felt they were unnatural. Dad begged her not to leave him, she said it was just something she had to experience alone. Dad cried, but held her hand as she left this world without him. Dad got his act together fast. Mom didn't believe in moping, death happened to all of us, and he had a three year old daughter to raise now. He kept us in the cabin him and mom shared in the mini farms,Fourteen years down the road it's still me and my dad, now he's your everyday cowboy. I'm as wild as my mom used to be. Turns out mom had a secret. She was a Hunter. She belonged to a supernatural group of humans that hunted down the rouges of the world. Those who defied the laws. Those who needed to be hunted down and killed. My mom had a secret. Now it's my job to keep it.
