Chapter Three

Elizabeth Pov

I couldn't believe what I was seeing... Is he really here!? Before I fell into too much of a daze, I snapped back to reality and ran over to the one I had been waiting for. Meliodas lied on the ground beneath me, unconscious. I stared down at him before falling to my knees. I pulled him close to chest and rested my chin on his head as tears silently fell down my cheeks. I heard a strange whoosh before a pair of red shoed feet landed before me.

Zeldris: What are you doing!? Let go of my brother! He shouldn't be tainted by the likes of you!

My gaze slowly rose to see that demon Meliodas had been fighting only a couple of minutes ago.

Elizabeth: Uh, I'm... I'm Elizabeth! What's your name?

Zeldris: You're Elizabeth!? The one Elder Brother has been talking about?

Elizabeth lifted her eyebrow at this. Meliodas never said he had a brother... Wait! Is he one of the ten commandments!?

Zeldris: Oh um, the name's Zeldris! Zeldris of Piety! Can I have my brother back please?

Just as I was about to answer him, someone came up behind me.

Diane: AS IF SHE'S LETTING GO!!!!! POOR ELIZABETH HAS BEEN WAITING FOR TWO YEARS FOR THE RETURN OF HER LOVER!!!!!

I slightly blushed at hearing Diane call Meliodas my 'Lover'. I looked up at Zeldris pleadingly.

Elizabeth: Um... Would you like to come inside the tavern? We may be on different teams but... Why don't we just talk about everything for a bit until he wakes up? Is that alright with you Zel?

Zeldris POV

Elizabeth: Is that alright with you Zel?

Zel? Why have I heard that name before? I don't understand...
Flashback;
I ran around the garden giggling "I'm gonna get get you Zel!" Said a small silverette girl as she chased me. "Haha! Go Ellie! You can get him!" Shouted Meliodas from the rose bushes. With that, I tripped over a rock. Elizabeth hit my foot and got sent flying. I gasped as she tumbled into Meliodas, she sat up, not realizing she was still on top of Meliodas. "Ooooo~ I'll leave you two alone~" I said as I slowly backed away from them.
End of flashback;
Wait... Could Elizabeth be that same girl we played with all the time nearly 4,000 years ago? No it couldn't possibly be...

Elizabeth: Zel? You okay?

I said simply nodded and gestured for her to lead the way. She nodded and picked up Meliodas slinging him over her shoulder.

Zeldris: What the hell? How strong could you have gotten after 4,000 years?

I quickly cover my mouth as she turns her head so quick, I'm surprised her neck didn't crack. We just stare for a few moments...

Elizabeth: Oh... So you do remember me...

Zeldris: Wait! It was really you back then?

Elizabeth: Yeah... I started regaining some memories from back then... It's been a while Zel...

I just nod in agreement.

King: What the hell are you talking about? Elizabeth... Are you? Friends with... Him?
