All Gone // lashton

Chapter 1

Year:2025
ASHTON'S POV:

I open my eyes and reach for my glasses on my night stand then I look to my side. There she was the most beautiful girl in the world, that I'm happy to call my wife, Anna. I can't help but smile looking at her. She's so perfect, I couldn't imagine my life with out her. "Good morning." I said softly waking her up. "Oh, good morning love."she smiled back.

"Daddy, Mommy!!!!" Our children Addison and James yelled as they ran into our bed room.  "Totally killed the moment guys!" I laughed picking them and putting them on our bed.  "Eww!" They said with scrunched faces. "Come on let's go down stairs and cook some breakfast." Anna said getting out of bed and walking down stairs, and the kids followed.

"Wait.. I love you!" I said, as Anna turned around. Her smile made my heart skip a beat.

"I love you too Ash!" She laughed

I couldn't help but think that I was the luckiest man on earth to have this life. It's a dream come true, nothing in the world could top this.

After we finished eating breakfast, I went back up stairs and got ready for work.

The place I work at is a record company by the name of Hey or Hi Records. A band I used to be in had a record deal with them but we didn't make it as big as we thought, so they dropped us. Our band broke up shortly after that, because after my accident I couldn't play as well as I used to and also  we couldn't meet eye to eye on many things anymore. And let's just say thing didn't end so well with the four of us.

By the time I was finished getting ready I was already late.

"Fuck I have to go I can't be late again!" I quietly whispered.
...

"Okay guys I have go!! See you tonight!!!
I said as I kissed my kids and wife good bye and walked out the door.

There wasn't a lot of traffic on my way to work. Which was normal it was early. I decided to speed a little to maybe kept up from being late.

"Buzz, buzz" My phone went off in the passenger seat. I grabbed it and read the text.

"I love you! Don't be late tonight, I have something fun planned ;)-Anna" It read

As I looked up back to the road saw a car coming towards mine. Headlights blinded me, I lost control of the wheel.

I felt my car spin quickly out of control and crashing into barrier.

My head slammed against the wheel.

The pain was instant

My ears were ringing.

Over the ringing I could hear sirens getting closer and closer I tried calling for help but felt too weak to care. I felt the EMTs pull me out of my car.

Breathing became harder.

I heard a voice calling my name.

"Ashton don't leave me!!"

I saw a white light coming towards me in the distance.

"Anna" I let her name fall off my lip as I took my last breath.

After that everything went blank...

Year:2015
ASHTON'S POV:

My back was killing me, but the pain coming from my head was much worse. I could hear people taking but couldn't make out conversations. I opened my eyes, I was in a hospital room.

Struggle to find my glasses which were no where to be found I realized that I didn't need them, my vision was way better than it was the last time I remember. But it wasn't just that,  everything felt different. I felt stronger even though I felt like shit. My hair was longer. How long was I in the hospital? And where  was my family ? Where was Anna? Nobody is here, do they know I'm here? How long has it been since the crash?  As I was lost in thought a man walked in wearing a white coat, who looked very tired and had a head of white hair.

"Mr. Irwin?" He spoke.

"Um yes?" I responded to him. I was shocked at how strong my accent was. 

"Hello I'm doctor Smith, it's good to finally see you awake." He spoke again.

"H-how long was I out?" I asked nervously still shocked of how my words came off my tongue. 

"Just a few days, you're sure lucky to have lived through that crash, and didn't hurt those hands of yours huh?  That would've put a damper on your career. Your friends and family  have been worried sick about you, I'll have a nurse contact them so they can come into see you ." He said with a smile on his face.

"Okay Um okay? Jesus how long was I out?" I asked confused. The room seemed to spin the more talking we did, I want to just fall back asleep.  I missed Anna.

"Well you were admitted on the 13th and it's the 20th today, so eight days Mr. Irwin. Also  I do have to contact them now that you're awake."

"That's not right though Sir. I crashed my car on the 29th of January." I told him the room beginning to spin faster.

"Mr. Irwin you crashed your car on June 13th. That's what the paperwork says son, I have to go now, its been a pleasure talking to you, but you should get some rest." He said with a smile as he walked out.

"June 13th....." I thought. What is he talking about? Is this a joke? Maybe he read the date wrong. Maybe Anna is putting him up to this, to get back at me for forgetting her birthday. Which the date has slipped away from me again. Maybe this is just a dream.

I got out of the hospital bed and went to the small bathroom in the corner of the room. I splashed water on my face hoping to wake my self up. As I looked up into the mirror. I saw my face. I stood in shock and fear. My 20 year old self starring back at me.

"Mr. Irwin! What are you doing out of bed your not supposed to be walking yet!" A nurse said as she came up behind me. 

"W-whats going on?!?! Why do I look like that! Where's Anna !?!? Where are my kids!!" I screamed. 

"Mr. Irwin please clam down your to weak to be getting excited!" The nurse said as she guided me back to the hospital bed. "You need to rest, your friends will be here shortly to come get you." she said.

"What friends?!?! Where is Anna?!?"

"Your friends Mr. Hemmings, Clifford, and Hood. Now please Mr. Irwin I need you to rest or you can't go home. I'll put some sleeping aid in your IV to help you. But no more getting up without assistance, please it's for your own good." she said with a mean look on her face.

What was happening. Why did I look like I am 20 years old again, what is Anna going to think. Why are the people I hate most in this world coming to see me?

Questions kept filling my brain more and more before the IV kicked in. Soon I just went blank and fell back into the deep sleep.
